@@bhratayudi9577 the Face ID has a code similar to the code of the motherboard. You’re changing the board so, there are two different codes. That’s the reason :) hope being helpful

Is the facial recognition going to work after replacing the motherboard?
No it wont work with the old face id module.. one particular motherboard have its own face id module.. so if u buy a new motherboard it will come together with its own face id module. Except if u buy a motherboard without it’s own face id module, the face id won’t work😁
No because face id is paired to one motherboard and if you replace it, it won't work
So someone would need the Taptic, speaker, and front facing camera that is paired with the motherboard in order to keep using face ID? I have one XR with a fried mother board and the other that is shattered front and back. Maybe I can make one good one out of 2???
They replaced mine, but the person who did it also adapted the memory and the phone never lost information. Just wanted to ask you how likely is the iPhone to work normally as before. Of course he used a Chinese mother board

Someone is selling a cheap iPhone xr, it has front and back glass cracked. Is it possible to transfer all the internals onto a new frame and back glass and replace the screen?

Thanks for the video, very helpful. I bought a motherboard without Face ID, I installed in my iPhone XR and Face ID is not working as I expected, but the front camera is not working either. Is it normal? Is the front camera paired as well on the motherboard? Please let me know if you have an answer.

kopiah uQuff86 Face ID is paired with the motherboard. If you buy a motherboard with Face ID assembly then it will work. If you buy only a motherboard (like I did), you will loose Face ID function, and apparently front camera too.
