- Testing out these temporary brow tattoos I saw advertised on Instagram ... are they all they are cracked up to be? Or are these just another one of those gimmicky products to steer clear of? I'll show you how to apply them, what they look like after application and how they look at the end of a full wear day (thankfully, I didn't go anywhere the day I tested these, not that I would have frankly LOL).

I have been using these from Headcovers and Beauti-ful brows for years and I love them. You have to trim close to the brow stencil and clean the area with rubbing alcohol before applying to remove all oils. I put mine on before doing any of my makeup and they usually last 3 to 4 days. These are great for people dealing with the effects of chemo or alopecia.
I’m suffering from loss of eyebrows permanently from treating breast cancer. I feel like an alien. How do you get them to be even?
@@blibertinerealm8549 it just takes practice sweetheart. The first couple sets will get messed up but you'll learn what works for you and it becomes easier. I place mine on my brow bone and they usually come out pretty even, I do have a sassy brow every now and then......lol
I use the ones from beauti-ful brows too! They have such a great selection of shapes and colors on their site. Yes, you have to trim close to the tattoo to get them even. I do not have eyebrow hair so they may work better that way.

I have them and I love them. I trimm them really close to hair. They last up to 2-3 days on me and look really pretty. All my work colleagues commented on how real they look.
How do you combat the shine
Yes I need to see a pic or video of your application process! What style did you get?
A friend said she puts hers on at night and by morning the shine is gone. She says they last 3-4 days.

Maybe if you cut just on the edge of the “hairs”. I mean, not in a rectangle shape. Maybe 🤷🏽♀️
And use a tinted brow powder over the top to cut the shine
They are very Asian in style. I prefer a more arched brow. but a good idea if they work
huffy bint they have tons of different shapes on their site.
Try it again without makeup and cut around the tattoo so it doesn't have as much shiny stuff around the actual tattoo.

I think the paper needed to be COMPLETELY saturated to release the tattoo perfectly. That's how kids' tattoos work best
Seeing as I have an endless amount of time on my hands, If I had these I'd probably cut closer to the hairs and even do it in sections. I'm curious, I may try it.

I prefer Bossy Brows. I have red hair and no eyebrows at all so I use the arched in the color Ginger. The trick is to be sure your skin is really clean, and cut the paper as close to the brow as possible on the top & bottom, but leave a tail on the end of the bro to grip when you're ready to gently peel it off. That way there's very little shine around the brow after it's applied. I hold a piece of really wet towel on them with a lot of pressure and they come out great! Sometimes I dab, NEVER rub, a little matte auburn eye shadow on them with a tapered brush to give them a soft depth. It removes the first day shine and helps fill in any areas that might need a little help on day 2 or 3. Finish with your makeup setting spay and yer good to go!
I got the biggest kick out of this! I have eyebrows for days, so I'm not in the market for these, but I had to watch. I loved this and how you laughed at them the whole time. You have my favorite kind of personality
I love using these! They do need the powder application and it takes some getting used to. However, definitely not everyone's cuppa tea:))

I have had an issue with over plucking and so for a year I’ve been drawing my brows on using Wet n’ Wild products. I’ve tried templates they suck - so I just started doing my own thang and most days they look awesome. I saw an ad for Bossy Brow on Pinterest so I definitely had to try it. Just put them on literally an hour ago and I can hardly feel them. It notes to apply before bed so they can bond with your skin and that the shininess will subside in a few hours.. so have to check that.. I love them so far and all I hear are rave reviews!

I’ve been using these eyebrows for a couple of years now, and I’m quite satisfied with them. Like others have stated here, you have to trim them very very close to the actual picture of the eyebrow. This way it avoids any “plastic film” looking piece on your eyebrow. I prepare my eyebrows by making sure they’re completely shaved, because any little hairs poking out, will affect the adherence of the tattoo eyebrows. So, I shave my eyebrows, I wash my face very well. I dab a little bit of rubbing alcohol, and let it dry naturally on my eyebrow area, and then I apply the tattoo eyebrows. I then take a face roller and roll it over the eyebrows just to make sure they’re completely flat on the area. After that, I apply my make up. They last about three days and I remove them using baby oil. I recommend them as I have extremely blonde, thin eyebrows, naturally, so these have been a Great Find for me. I also had a cosmetologist one time ask if my eyebrows had been micro bladed! That was a real compliment!

I’ve had alopecia for 20 years. I recently started trying the temporary tattoos about a month or so ago. I’ve been using “My brows” and it doesn’t leave a plastic sheen behind. I’ve been using the L’Oréal micro ink pen or the elf eye pencil and then some brow powder on top. My kids said it’s weird because they look so real.

Wow. Thank you. My daughter and I really needed a laugh. They last attempt didn't look too bad except for one being higher than the other one.
What if you trimmed them close to the actual shape of the brow sticker as oppose to the entire sqaure
These may be good for cancer patients that lose there eyebrows because of chemo. They may not have the skill to draw them on and this could be an easier option
you're not saturating the paper enough for it to slide off without the edges being lifted. Also, I'd suggest trimming it closer (and even trimming off parts of the tattoo that you don't want), applying before makeup. Then make sure to gently tap a wet finger over its edges when it's on, to help set it a bit more. And finish by applying powder lightly to take off the sheen.
you could apply them before any makeup. the shininess may go with concealer. you know, the concealer that people use to sharpen their brows. it might work here. or a coloured eyeshadow primer

I'd rather just get a real permanent tattoo. I have practically no hair at all on my brows. I need something and I'm tired of filling in my brows with pens, pencils, stencils, powders, etc!

I keep seeing the ads for IL MAKIAGE on insta. I have been very curious as to whether or not it works as well as the ad claims.
I found the Il Makiage to be a huge disappointment. It went on great and then disintegrated within a few short hours.

Ok that was pretty funny! I am intrigued by the eyebrow stencil comment you made since I had my first round of chemo today for breast cancer. I have been warned that my hair will start coming out in about a week. Where would I find such a product? Feel like making another eyebrow video?

Maybeline or Loreal has some time of staining product it takes a couple hours to set and be washed off but the results last for 3 days to 2 weeks depending on how often your skin turns over on your face.
I saw these but didn't realize they were tattoos!!! The length may have been different from top to bottom but they're all straight across. Good men's brows but not for those of us who have a natural arch. The template idea was a good one but I'm thinking a pencil might have worked better. Too bad there wasn't an arch - I'd love to have nice, full brows like that!!!

You didn't cut enough of the film off. Gotta cut these as close to the tattoo as possible. Also i don't cut the pairs apart. i cut them and place them as a Unibrow. I touch up with Anastacia brow pen (the strokes) and that takes the shine away along with some babypowder corn starch. Lasts me 5 days. Best if you have no brow like me. I shaved them off since i had all of maybe 10 hairs anyway LOL.
You can flip them around so they arch up...great addition to a Halloween costume!!

I wonder if it would help to first, cut closer to the 'brow' (less extra space to feel sticky and be shiny) and then, leave it on less time so the brow really is more of a template and you can still hand draw over it.
This are way to much hassle and can turn out really ugly .. imagine that when u are in a hurry or need good eyebrows for a special occasion .. thanks for the fun review:)
I have alopecia and did consider these but I dont think I could handle the feeling of the plasticky stuff left on my skin.
I tried a lot of ways to make fake brows. In the end, my fave way is to use an eyeliner brush and gel eyeliner to make individual hairs. It sounds tedious but is in fact very quick and easy. Takes about the time most women with brows take to put all their brow products on. I dont go for a big blocky brow, just literally drawing in a fairly sparse brow to imitate what I had with real brows.
I do have the foam brow stamp things. I will use them sometimes if Im in a hurry but it is difficult to get them even and in the right spot.
I also have clear plastic brow stencils that have an elastic band that goes around the back of the head. Those can be precisely placed and then I just use my brow hair liner thing to fill them in, or the foam stamps.

I love the concept. I've bought more crap becuse of IG. It took since March for these to arrive. (ok understable consider our global situation) I threw the first test batch in the trash. I had to come on here to figure it out. I'm a seasoned MUA. I enjoy drawing a nice brow. Thought this would be faster. They suck.....more IG crap in the pile! LOL BTW you are gorgeous
I think that you have to peel over the sticky before applying the brow. The shine doesn't last long after removing the sticker
Oh Zabrena, you are so much braver than I am.... Between over tweezing and menopause I have sparse brows that require babying and absolutely nothing pulling on them. The purple-y tone is the same color that hair dye becomes after sitting on our heads for a while.
I would purchase if the shine was gone and you could pencil on top. Your brave Zabrena. Thanks for trying these.
Twist on substitutes. as we run out of product but don't want to buy new just yet. What makeup can be used for other purposes, ie eyeshadow for a browpencil replacement. Vasiline and blush for lipstick.....that kind of substitute.
Hi Zabrena please do some more high end products , as that’s all I use , it just would be nice to see more techniques on eyeshadow , plus I generally only use Charlotte tilbury and her new formula, on her new kits of specific for eye colours, one is green and a double ended eye liner one matte the other metallic, first 1blue and liner , 2 copper and liner , 3 copper and liner, 4 green and liner, 5 maroon and liner , these new palettes look beautiful, I have the blue and green, then I bought the copper liner, but as soon as the Covid -19 is over I will pick up the ones I don’t have. I would be interested in your opinion . Love liz x

I am one of those chemo patients that you mentioned. I've been seeing this on Instagram and literally I just sat down with my credit card in hand to purchase them but decided at the last minute look up reviews on TH-cam. I am so glad I did I think I'll just save my twenty bucks.

well you do have some brows , many of us do not have that much and I have been using these for a while and I love them , better then walking around without any brows at all .....
I'm so glad you did this test. I need to order this because I have no eyebrows!!!! I tweezed way to much in the late 80s. It seems like the only problem is positioning them.

I'm currently try this brow tattoos cause I got no eyebrows due to illness and I gotta say the shininess was very off-putting but once you wear them for a day or so they begin to look lived in worn in a good way not shiny

They work great but sticking to hair is not the purpose. It's a temp tattoo so smooth , oil free skin. Shave, then clean with alcohol. Trim closely and add a little powder after for shiney. Remove with oil. They dont stick well to hair.

Your face 😂 I do agree, good concept. I wonder if you trimmed the outer edge of the brow tattoo (the white part) as you do with the kid's ones if that would make a difference. I would have to do that but also mark out where to line them up on the inner part of my brows & the outer so they lined up & looked even. Did you know they make brow wigs???

First of all I think these “eyebrows” are really geared towards Asian women. No disrespect meant here. Plus I wonder also if you trimmed the template closer to the “hair” if that would make a difference to eliminate the shine they leave behind if that makes sense. Great concept/idea but more shapes are really needed. JMO Love your videos

Yup. I'm half Korean and I have very sparse eyebrows. They drive me crazy. And yes, the fashion there is straight brows.
Well that was a fun video! Now I don't feel so disappointed that my package never arrived, since I probably wouldn't have been happy with the eyebrows after all. I had a bad experience with the company. They sent me an email saying the package was delivered but it never arrived. Customer service wasn't helpful. They just repeated that the package was delivered.

I have never used them. I only use eyebrow pencils. Pomade and my Scott Barnes contour palette on my eyebrows.
I really like these eyebrow shapes, I kinda want to glue my real brows down, and then try these to see which shape fits my face best, then use them as a stencil on my real brows

Yeay put a rectangle XD they should be cut into a neat shape first and covered with light brow powder.
No one thought of maybe cutting in real close to avoid clear plastic glossy sticker. Also like the old children temp tattoos after they are on wet them over top and let completely dry to eliminate some of the shine.
Try making a grid template like the others who have tried it the fiirst time to align it properly.

But u have eyebrows, they work best on a clean forehead, or freshly shaved brow. Those look real! Powder them too, they aren't shiny afterwards.
