Lyrics:
Photon fingers ransacking the skies
In search for every last angel
To cripple and dispossess
Pillage and burn the forefather’s crypts
In search for forgotten values
Our worlds were built upon
And the collapse is imminent
Behold! Beware! Embrace!
A glimpse, a glimmer, a chance, a shot at dignity
Your personal zero vector
perpendicular to life, true to death
F*ck this life, f*ck this world
Bottoms up - down your cup of Hemlock
Get shitfaced the Socretean way
Ride Boreas! Dance on Phobos!
End this life, end this world
Gaia, welcome thy apostate child
And as the last rays of dusk decease
So does the flame within
Nothing but my own sundown
Nothing but another life down
And yet the sun will rise again
To scorch everything that’s left behind
And only eternal night can
Set you free
Walk into the sea - quench the eternal thirst
Walk into the fire - stop the numbing cold
Walk towards the final salvation
At last, homewards

If a band's live performance is awesome, it's one of the satisfying things in this life.
i listen to this twice a day for a year. best live performance on video
was für ein grandioses Video; Danke dafür!!!!
Awesome song and band
I really feel like bands like this are part of a new wave of black metal, with black hoods and concealed faces instead of corpsepaint, nihilism instead of satanism and audible bass in the mix. I never was a huge fan of black metal, but this I like. The melodic part also has some strong screamo/post-hardcore vibes, and it only makes it better in my opinion. Great song.
I like both- hooded bands like Gaerea, Uada, Groza, Mgla and the ones with corpse paint. I was recently at two black metal events - one was Mgla , they were hooded and the other few days ago- Taake with Nordjevel and Theotoxin as supporting acts- all wore corpse paint
GROZARTIG !!! 🔥🔥🔥
With 8 billion people walking this earth and todays accesibility to created art all around the globe you would put yourself into chains if you'd deny your own visions just because someone else had a similiar one before you.
chicken or the egg matters not. Grilled chicken is good, omelets are good.
@@Fraeg I've been asked the 'chicken or egg' question on a first date.
After a few seconds of thinking i remembered your comment and came up with:
"Well, omelette for breakfast & grilled chicken for lunch, sooo..."
She nearly lost it :D
We're together for 3 months now. So thanks for that, mate!
Mega genial ,werde mir groza immer wieder ansehen.

03:05 El placer que siento al escuchar esta canción no tiene comparación, es más que orgásmico. Una estimulación cerebral y corporal intensa. 🔥
Missed you guys in Arnhem due to a death in the family. :( Und Scheisse auf die Leute die sagen dass Groza ein MGLA Clone ist! Bleibt einfach geile Musik machen! Richtige Metaller wissen genau was richtig ist. ;)
Geil! Sven, hol die mal nach PB :D
Saw you in Trier not too long ago, and your performance was excellent, GROZA. Better than headliner Harakiri for the sky imho. Schammasch were excellent aswell, and HFTS were OK, i guess...expected more tbh. JJ seemed kinda lost at some point, and seemed to fight against his own band members, lol...not like other live vids i saw on here...I'm not even complaining, because the underground showed 'em in the end, and that's always a good thing. :) The available merch from every single artist on that evening was outstanding, btw. My poor wallet, lol.
How tf does this sound like atmospheric BM and Post-Rock with Pop-punk blended in?

Rammstein - Zeit
Rammstein - Mutter
Uada - Cult of a Dying Sun
Another project of M. or Mgla 2.0 ? A few minor differences between the two subjects would be found - the shape of the hoods, for example. More blasts instead of cymbal bells. Maybe something else... :)
Haters gonna hate.
Completely different band. Very similar sound. Still good tho
@@carelessnihilanth7618 I do not see many similarities, in fact I recently listen to Groza more lol
Masken ab! Völlig ausreichend, wenn MGLA das so machen. Ansonsten eine großartige Band! 🙂
2nd wave corpse paint ist dann aber auch verboten, wenn 3rd wave masks tabu sind, oder?
@@ole86 Kann jeder machen was er will.
this sounds too similar to Mgła....
to quote an earlier poster on this thread, "With 8 billion people walking this earth and todays accesibility to created art all around the globe you would put yourself into chains if you'd deny your own visions just because someone else had a similiar one before you."
MGLA, UADA, Groza, etc. alot of bands tapping into a similar vein. Instead of worrying about who came first, you could just enjoy it for what it is?
If it sounds good, it is good.
EDIT, the frontman for the band flat out states that their primary influence is MGLA, I mean as long as you cite your sources :D
"Obviously, Mgła has been our main influence, especially for the first album. It is because of them, that I initially started this project in the first place, basically as a worship project (hence the name).
But to name some other influences, that have been with me for a long time, I could name Dissection, Uada, Alcest, Harakiri For The Sky and Black Sabbath just to name a few off the top of my head. On the new album, you will also be able to hear some Post-Rock influences."

@@Fraeg cool info thx
Listen NON EST DEUS - Legacy, for more mgla inspired black metal.
And that's a bad thing ? They worship Mgla.
This is much better than Mgla, it has more melody... I understand that they may have created something good, but something better can always come!
ctrl + C MGŁA
Well Groza say themselves, that they do mgla-style-metal. No harm in that, don't you agree?
Mimimi mgla, mimimi mgla 😜
Kacper might name a band which isn't somehow influenced by one band or another nowadays. I'll wait.
Did you say the same thing when Norway bred dozens of black metal bands all with the same style and aesthetic? No?
Because it's a fact that when someone innovates something good, and inspires others, they want to put their own spin on what influenced them. That's how music works. Otherwise, genres would not exist.
@@markobighead3173yes actually.
better than mgła
Mgla rip off!
Is every female-fronted symphonic metal band a Nightwish rip-off? Is every black metal band a Venom rip-off? Is every fantasy book a LotR rip-off? Mgla produced some good music. Are there some similarities between Groza and Mgla - yes, there are some. Does it make Groza's music less beautiful, captivating and amazing? Absolutely not!
@@Aleister82 How is it different from AI-derived music or images? Similarities are now a thing of the past; we have long gone beyond creating a trend similarity. People now want to hear and see new things. If one after the other copies are good for you, I can recommend many groups like Mgla. There are also AI-made ones.
@@evelinradoslavov People want to experience more of what they enjoy. New things are good, but good old stuff is always welcomed. To me personally, Redemptive End managed to do what The Age of Excuse failed at. Also, I highly doubt that the AI has developed that far to produce a music that would really be enjoyable.
@@Aleister82 Sharing similarities is one thing and then trying to emulate the look, riffs, sound, lyrics, album name of Mgla and even going as far as using only initials, is on a whole other level. In an interview they are saying the band started as a Mgla tribute band but "developed their own style over time", which unlike Uada, I am not really seeing here.
@@MantleOfDust well, the sound at the very least seems different to me. And, although, I'm not a big expert in BM, but the riffs don't seem too similar to me. Yet again, even if Groza copied Mgla to a certain way, I cannot ignore the fact that I enjoyed Redemptive End much more than the "Original" Mgla's Age of Excuse.
great !
Brilliant
I do not get the newish druid hood trend in black metal. Like at all. It's honestly super dumb. It makes me think the entire band are NPC's
and I totally dig it. Better than painting yourself as a clown
@@filipnowak2668 both are fairly gay but the hoods are easily 10x gayer. if you ask me i'm guessing it's probably cuz they have short preppy haircuts and they're embarrassed to show it cuz it ain't "metuhl."
