The little nuances in her voice that she does are like the sprinkles on a sundae. The voice is rich, complex, absolutely wonderful, and so the little things are a treat.
Like at 5:50 when she says "con tu luuuuuz" (with your liiiiight), that little sudden raise in her voice at the end of "luz". I love that. :)

Ana Gabriel, I grew up listening to her with my mom. Didn't appreciate it at the time but now, wow!! all this music takes me back to my childhoold years. Shes from Chinese descendency. I believe her parents migrated to Mexico from China around WW2 somewhere around there.
