Philadelphia is a joke....and Pittsburgh is not far behind....the recent 911 emergency service announcement where Sunday late late night 911 callers now need to leave a message actually made Natiobal News because of how ridiculous it is to leave a message to receive "emergency" service. Just another Pennsylvania BAD joke...like having a trans public chief medical officer, actually electing a severe stroke patient as a senator...and on and on.
Maybe, just maybe, check the homeless encampment that runs along the jail trail near that parking lot. I’m sure there is ALOT of criminal activity in that homeless encampment!
The fact that there's no offices manning the sub stations is crazy. The fact that now they won't come whe you report a crime happening makes the city that much more unsafe. Driving around with lights on but windows up isn't community-based policing. I understand that you have officer shortage. Its time to get out and recruit and not just anybody. Need to start having town meetings to address the problem and ways to fix it that doesn't jeopardize public safety.

and per KDKA , 28 officers retired in the last two weeks, 55 retired in 2023. This is not a good trend.
