Either way fotis is seen taking the Tacoma to Waveny Park to kill Jennifer then driving her suburban to a Waveny Park then taking the Tacoma to the newly built house, michelle goes to that house and back home 5x then they go get rid of Jennifer's bloody clothes etc. Does a random phone connection change any of that? I wouldn't think so since we saw all that on cctv. I'm pretty sure that suburban was left running because when they found it was in reverse, you cannot turn the vehicle off while it's in gear. So he may have had Kent take the phone and drive by the suburban just to have the phone connect before tossing it. Or I've seen others speculate maybe Fotis tossed the phone in a bush and a kid found it and turned it on and it connected, either way it doesn't change the fact fotis went and killed her and then him and michelle cleaned up and tossed the evidence. The facts are the facts and we are able to see most of their timeline that day on cctv. michelle isn't charged with murder or even being near New Canaan so I don't see how the phone has anything to do with michelle tampering with evidence (tossing the bloody clothes & cleaning the Tacoma), hindering prosecution (lying to police providing an alibi for fotis) or conspiring to commit murder. As for "why wouldn't she answer all texts" she only had his phone from 6am till around 1pm when he got back right? Well she started manipulating it the second she got up at 6, unlocking it several times, walking around with it, then answering the 1 planned phone call. From the few texts I did see (I believe there was 5) 3 asked him to call, and they all seemed to be about work. She answered the 1 he told her to answer, the planned one.

As a lawyer, I don't understand why her defense attorney did not advise her NOT to talk to the police at all. I get it that narcissists think they can gaslight everyone and that they're smarter than everyone, but in this case, a lot of the evidence against Michelle was from the inconsistencies from her interviews with the police. To watch her attorney sitting there while she jabbers away at the detectives is almost painful. I'm glad though, because she was convicted. Criminals don't get how the truth works. Great job from the prosecution in using the inconsistencies during interrogations to support their position and secure justice.

I have a theory as to what happened to Jennifer’s body. They said her scent went to the railroad tracks, correct? Fotis has family & other connections in Greece so it could be Jennifer’s body was put in some type of container for shipment after it was taken to the railroad and her body was covered in something to keep it from picking up a scent any further & covered in lime or some other substance that would make her body decay quickly & then someone or ones were at the railroad to pick it up to ship it overseas to Greece by ship on a seafood boat for instance, for somebody that Fotis knows so they can dispose of Jennifer’s body once it gets to Greece. The Lime or whatever substance that would make her body decay quickly & would also keep it from smelling badly, especially if it were on a seafood boat because those boats/ships smell awful anyway. That could also be what the hint of the 3:30 time meant, for someone to be at the railroad at 3:30 to pick up the container with Jennifer’s body in it. Fotis seemed to have everything else planned so well, I cannot see him leaving out HOW he was going to DISPOSE of her body AFTER he murdered Jennifer. Fotis knew it was going to have to be a plan so well thought out that her body could NEVER be found, NO trace at all! Something like this has to be the only explanation since the Detectives (dogs I guess) smelled her scent to the railroad. It could be there was a freight train with empty boxcars coming down the track slowly at that time of day and the container with Jennifer’s body and whoever that was going to ship her body overseas got on that boxcar, then they got off on down they line at a designated place. It makes me wonder if the Detectives checked to see if there was a freight train coming through at that time of day Jennifer was murdered? I pray Jennifer, her 5 precious children, her family, and all the one that love her so very much get JUSTICE for Jennifer !!! They ALL deserve JUSTICE for Jennifer’s sake and I pray her body is found so Jennifer can have a proper burial !!! What’s the story behind wife’s phone connecting to car at 2:56 pm, hours after the disappearance and Fotis confirmed back in Farmington? obv the jury didn’t think so, but to me, that is reasonable doubt. Also Jon said cops didn’t pursue it, that’s scary, isn’t it their duty??
The phone connecting where? It doesn't matter, Jennifer's blood and clothes were in Dulos and Troconis possession.
They have said that the phone was connected to one of the iPads the kids had…. Or something like that… the nanny had the Range Rover in NY at that point so it literally couldn’t have been the actual phone.
@@heliumfiasco I meant the cell phone connected to the Suburban that was found that night at the park. From what Shoenhorn said in closings, the cops knew about that but never bothered to follow up on it because it didn't fit their charge....? That seems evil if true as maybe it could have answered a lot of questions. Also, if they are saying MT answered FD's phone in the morning to give him an alibi, why wouldn't she have answered all of his texts so cops couldn't say "Look! he didn't respond to texts until 1:00 p.m. because he was too busy in New Canaan causing a menance with his ex wife...? Just seems a lot of unanswered questions that I was surprised were allowed to be brushed away. Anyone's thoughts?
@@lisakhan7514I'm not sure that it "didn't fit their charge" in many murder cases there are unknown variables. Why? Because the victim is dead and the killer is going to lie, about everything. I'm unsure what Jennifer's phone connecting changes for you. Either way fotis is seen taking the Tacoma to Waveny Park to kill Jennifer then driving her suburban to a Waveny Park then taking the Tacoma to the newly built house, michelle goes to that house and back home 5x then they go get rid of Jennifer's bloody clothes etc. Does a random phone connection change any of that? I wouldn't think so since we saw all that on cctv. I'm pretty sure that suburban was left running because when they found it was in reverse, you cannot turn the vehicle off while it's in gear. Jennifer's phone was actually never found and two things to keep in mind are that Kent hasn't had his trial yet so we don't know his part in this and it's important to remember fotis was really trying to sell that bogus gone girl bs, that Jennifer ran away. So he may have had Kent take the phone and drive by the suburban just to have the phone connect before tossing it. Or I've seen others speculate maybe Fotis tossed the phone in a bush and a kid found it and turned it on and it connected, either way it doesn't change the fact fotis went and killed her and then him and michelle cleaned up and tossed the evidence. The facts are the facts and we are able to see most of their timeline that day on cctv. michelle isn't charged with murder or even being near New Canaan so I don't see how the phone has anything to do with michelle tampering with evidence (tossing the bloody clothes & cleaning the Tacoma), hindering prosecution (lying to police providing an alibi for fotis) or conspiring to commit murder. As for "why wouldn't she answer all texts" she only had his phone from 6am till around 1pm when he got back right? Well she started manipulating it the second she got up at 6, unlocking it several times, walking around with it, then answering the 1 planned phone call. I'm sure it's obvious why she didn't answer other calls cause others would've clearly said she answered, not fotis and I don't think she answered texts because she was busy and she was in and out of the house, if you remember she made her daughter breakfast and took her to school, returned the woman's purse that forgot it at their house during the dinner party the night before and went to see Petu and say goodbye cause petu was going on a trip. I think she made a point of being busy that morning and stopping at the house in between to quickly unlock the phone and walk around with it a bit to make it seem like he was home and she was running errands. I think Kent was at the house in case she didn't get back in time to answer that call, it's a little too convenient for all 3 to be in the office at the exact time he told his friend to call. From the few texts I did see (I believe there was 5) 3 asked him to call, and they all seemed to be about work. She answered the 1 he told her to answer, the planned one.

The Defense Attorney has a lot of bad facts to contend with. He has provided a zealous defense, and MT was well represented. It’s going to be the small details and facts that the jurors will have to weigh. After listening to this trial for weeks, and hearing the evidence, I would find her guilty. We will see though!

As a lawyer, I don't understand why her defense attorney did not advise her NOT to talk to the police at all. I get it that narcissists think they can gaslight everyone and that they're smarter than everyone, but in this case, a lot of the evidence against Michelle was from the inconsistencies from her interviews with the police. To watch her attorney sitting there while she jabbers away at the detectives is almost painful. I'm glad though, because she was convicted. Criminals don't get how the truth works. Great job from the prosecution in using the inconsistencies during interrogations to support their position and secure justice.

I have a theory as to what happened to Jennifer’s body. They said her scent went to the railroad tracks, correct? Fotis has family & other connections in Greece so it could be Jennifer’s body was put in some type of container for shipment after it was taken to the railroad and her body was covered in something to keep it from picking up a scent any further & covered in lime or some other substance that would make her body decay quickly & then someone or ones were at the railroad to pick it up to ship it overseas to Greece by ship on a seafood boat for instance, for somebody that Fotis knows so they can dispose of Jennifer’s body once it gets to Greece. The Lime or whatever substance that would make her body decay quickly & would also keep it from smelling badly, especially if it were on a seafood boat because those boats/ships smell awful anyway. That could also be what the hint of the 3:30 time meant, for someone to be at the railroad at 3:30 to pick up the container with Jennifer’s body in it. Fotis seemed to have everything else planned so well, I cannot see him leaving out HOW he was going to DISPOSE of her body AFTER he murdered Jennifer. Fotis knew it was going to have to be a plan so well thought out that her body could NEVER be found, NO trace at all! Something like this has to be the only explanation since the Detectives (dogs I guess) smelled her scent to the railroad. It could be there was a freight train with empty boxcars coming down the track slowly at that time of day and the container with Jennifer’s body and whoever that was going to ship her body overseas got on that boxcar, then they got off on down they line at a designated place. It makes me wonder if the Detectives checked to see if there was a freight train coming through at that time of day Jennifer was murdered? I pray Jennifer, her 5 precious children, her family, and all the one that love her so very much get JUSTICE for Jennifer !!! They ALL deserve JUSTICE for Jennifer’s sake and I pray her body is found so Jennifer can have a proper burial !!! NO spouse deserves to die at the hands of the one that promised to love and protect them for the rest of their life !!! This hits to the core of my heart cause I was almost in her shoes, beat by a spouse, left to die, almost bled to death, but I survived, thank the Lord! Michelle you are just as bad as Fotis by helping him covering up for him the murder of his wife Jennifer! Michelle, you may as well have been right there with him while he was killing Jennifer, by you lying for Fotis !!! I feel sorry for women like you that defend men by acting ignorant. Why did defense defend Fotus. That was his first mistake. He could have defended her while blaming him. He was weak and grating. The volume of his voice was tiring and exhausting. Less is more. As a regular with the Law & Crime Channel, the prosecution closing argument in this case is the most boring I have heard in a long time. The female state attorney lack of court presence was obvious.

She did great. She just have not gained the experience with theatrics due to her time in the field. As someone who is familiar with moot courts, lawyers take acting courses to hone their court presence and delivery. Her facts were there, cohesive and plausible, which is what mattered.
