Beautiful scenery! The shrine/temple complex with the Tengu is Kashozan Ryugein Mirokugokokuzen Temple, and there is a restaurant named "Tengu" nearby, as well as many other Tengu related names (Mt Tengu). It is also close to Doai Station, the deepest in Japan with 486 steps. The waterfalls with the "gargoyle" rock formation is Fukiwari Falls. The bikes on rails is Azumakyo Rail Bike Agattan Karigasawa Station. Yubatake in Kusatsu has been featured on a few channels. It is really nice to see so many things with some depth and background information you provided. How long did it take you to get back to Tachikawa?
I think I'd love to visit if i were with someone familiar with the area... like a local. Love your channel! Your videos and content are worth 1000 times better than just 65K! Thanks for all you do!
@@kydeanderic Would be worth it. And to paraphrase the great Philosopher Jeremy Clarkson: "Jumping does not kill you, suddenly becoming stationary, that is what gets you every time."
I did that railbike last week. So fun, that dam was amazing. The locals all waving at us was great. The hot footbath was unreal. I still need to do the gifu one. Keep up videos
Thank you , another fantastic video. That tengu temple... scary! And we commented immediately about the phone stand for selfies - that wouldn't work here (UK) - the phone would be stolen and the post vandalised! 😅
I really like your videos. Coincidentally, I lived in Gunma (Maebashi) for two years and Setagaya Ward (Soshigaya-okura) for two years. I used to go to Denny's for breakfast with friends after a long ,night of drinking. I also had a great time in New York. Oh, if you're in Gunma again, I suggest you visit Tokorozaws onsen.
Speaking of Gunma, there are specialties such as Mizusawa udon, Yakimanjo, Takasaki pasta, Okirikomi, Daruma, Sorakaze, Kusatsu Manza Onsen, and the factory of Calpis pe Young.
Japans shortest tunnel! Riddle me this! If your limo is longer than the tunnel, at what point do you stop going in if the front is already going out? It's monday. So you can tell how my week is gonna be already. 😅
Was wondering, is the sound too good and my ears are not as used to it, or do I hear at times something like an echo sound with a slight nasal aftertone?
@@kydeanderic Hope not, but at times when you were in those tunnels or in the elevator, or by those waterfalls 28:40 it was a bit noticable, the nasal part, and in that tunnel of the dam it had also a bit sharp edge, or when it rained those rain dropplets were really sharp sounding, like they wanted to peetrate that umbrella :) But it might by that your gear got better troughout the years and I can now hear more thanks to chi-fi iem's.
Dear Kyde & Erik if you want mass adaption of the channel just follow the strategy of all those normies making the same content about Tokyo over and over again. After you have 100K followers make more of the beaten path content. It's a shame normies got more attention sigh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Would you like to visit Gunma?

one of the most underrated channels on YT IMO
Beautiful area. The gorge was amazing and the waterfall was very interesting. The screaming creature immediately caught my eye.
That was a lot of fun!
One of the best couples of you tube!
Thanks!
24:27 that sounds like it is an anti-pigeon measure, I have heard them in cities. The sounds of a raptor scare off birds like pigeons.
As usual just when I need something to cheer me up you drop another amazing video❤️
Very enjoyable thank you. The aerial view of the dam looks like an outer space view of planet earth.
So many interesting things to see! It must be great to get out of Tokyo so easily. Thanks!
That was bangin. Gunma looks so beautiful
Yeah!!! There you are! So happy to see you both. I’ve missed you. Hope you are well. 😊😊😊
Thanks Kyde and Eric brilliant video really loved it
Got to feed the YT algorithm watching early morning at dawn in Northamptonshire England 🏴 ❤🫏🐓🦒
Love you two crazy kids! Wish I had a full time job so I could help support again!
Woot woot, another video!

Took about 5 and a half hours, we stopped for a fika on the way. -E
Yessss lovely. Now I've got something to watch with breakfast. I love to eat with you guys❤

Kyde & Eric: Gunma Drift for Breakfast TV here. Nice :) I agree with Kyde btw, Bridges like that require a Bounce.
you're going to break another bone! -e

some beautiful views around the bike train place 👌

oh awesome, yea the railbike thing is really fun!
I miss this types of K&E videos. Visit random site and do random things. Interesting content ensues. Also, Kyde you are not cheap for walking back.
For the information about the Ashiyu, acidity of the water gives you tingling sensation.
Kyde looks so HAPPY, love you goofballs!!!!! 😄

What's the community centre called that does the train line biking?
Here is some info about it. mainichi.jp/english/articles/20200925/p2a/00m/0na/023000c

We have two other videos from this trip, check our channel! We explored and ate some of these things!
In Chicago, your phone wouldn't last two minutes on a little stand like that. It'd be gone by the time you turned around, LOL!
Me: Aww, missed opportunity to add a jumpscare in the intro
31:52 😱
I was really hoping that there would be a pair of golden balls in the bowl when you finished.
All your Videos are good but this has been a stand out.
Kyde needs to be sick more on trips! hahah
excited to see k and e eating pizza in nyc
sooon!
Is it? It is! The return of the end card.
...the return? I'm confused what you mean.
A restaurant at a dam that doesn't sell dam curry? Yuru Camp lied!

The voice at the Tengu shrine may be that of a monkey. At 21:22 there was a sign saying "Please do not feed the monkeys."
Sounds like the faux bird of prey call used to keep the pigeons and vermin out.
Here in Argentina they would steal your phone AND the stand.
lol
We saw a spider like that on a lamp post in Matsuyama, ruined my bloody day
Kyde's hair is so long! Or... was, whenever this was filmed.
Only japan, in the us theyd just steal the phone and the wood holder😂😢
Was wondering, is the sound too good and my ears are not as used to it, or do I hear at times something like an echo sound with a slight nasal aftertone?
I...I don't know what you are hearing but now I'm worried there is a technical problem haha
