Is it a reasonable deal? . Bit confusing with wpc or plywood.please suggest which is the best for termite proof and long lasting.

He said we need to do a box work. and He calculated like this: H*W*D 8*10*2 = 160 SFT. I am thinking generally we calculate for both frame work or box work like H*W . so, 8*10 = 80. But, I don't why he took three parameters(H*W*D). Is Carpenter did correct calculation? Can any one help with this please ?

If Carpenter is charging 180 for Frame and 280 for box and it means that for box, he is not calculating depth right? It is length×Height?
He is saying per sft. You have ask him on paper room wise sizes to know whether depth included or not...
