I went through a bad breakup with a girl I was with for four years. It was the most excruciating mental pain I've ever had to go through. After a while I started going to church and met this girl. We listened to this song on our first date. I've never met anyone else like her. She's so fun and mysterious. The problem is she's in college and goes home four states away from me every break. It always gets harder and harder to say goodbye to her. I don't think she will ever understand how much I really love her.

when i close my eyes while listening to this i picture myself walking on a very crowded space as the song plays along, i look around, i don't see anybody's face, a neon fog covering some part of the floor along with some other neon lights, everyone dancing while i walk around everything looking for something that i feel it's missing
i eventually walk my way to what it seems it's the middle of the room, and with just a blink of an eye, everyone around me made a huge open area, and the faceless people stared at me. i'm the center of attention, like if i was some sort of attraction or if i did something bad...
my legs refuse to move, so i just sit down, pulling my legs close to my chest, and i start heavily breathing.
now it seems everything returned back to normal, even tho all i can make out is everyone's legs moving.
i feel invisible, and lonely.
but i also feel comforted, as everything fades back to reality.

Maybe through hiking, maybe through just simply focusing on the movement of your breath during meditation (and pushing out all thoughts), you can make it. I am here for everyone. Please feel free to message me if you ever need to talk. When one realizes that everything is impermanent, only then beauty can be found in existence. Feeling sorry for yourself does nothing. Wanting things does nothing. Why? Because you can never get out of that state of mind. Even the richest people in the world still want more money. I'm not depressed anymore like I was when I first discovered this video, but I still like to listen to it from time to time, especially when performing mundane tasks or working on assignments. Listening to it does fill one with a sense of melancholy either way though.
The kind of songs I would listen to while studying until late night for my future and grades, then remembering that meanwhile there are people my age who have an interesting social life outside of school
