As a consle player, it really hurts that we still can't play, but I'm still happy for PC players that they can play the game they love

North Star truly is incredible. As a console player it pains me to know I still can’t play this game however I can at least rest easy knowing that others can once again enjoy this masterpiece.

Honestly, let EA get mad. Maybe they’ll realize if they don’t listen to the voice of the Titanfall/gaming community, eventually people won’t want Titanfall anymore until someone comes along, buys the rights to it and turns the franchise from a BR cash grab back into the original game style that made Titanfall so exotic compared to any other FPS for it’s time.
This is the only game that macro rated 10/10 and I’m glad that the game is saved

@@lordhelix1999 Better gun and Titan customisation, better balancing, better interactions between player and Titan such as a better Titan rodeo replacement and Anti-Titan weapons becoming their own slot again. And make Grapple Hook a default movement option because it's way better than any of the abilities, but too fun to nerf. Bring back more interactive maps with things like Turrets, traps laying around. Also make the guns stronger, feel stronger instead of peashooters you spam trying to hit the broadside of a barn. Remove damage falloff from most weapons (Not all) and balance the weapons with bullet velocity, so that they don't feel like peashooters, in return movement can be made even faster.

Since I am not familiar with Northstar I cannot be sure of what it can or cannot perform. If you want to you can contact the people working on Northstar to add these changes. I’m so happy I’m crying rn. It’s been so long since I’ve played titanfall 2 bc of the incel hackers and Ddosers. It’s truly beautiful to see the titanfall community come together to preserve the game they love.
The DDOS tried to stop it , respond refused to fix it , and yet , a five-year-old Game Stands Tall today, held solely by its community, the mechs are still hitting the ground

12:40 There WAS a mode like Fastball in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019), but I only found it in rotation for the first week of Season 2. It's called Reinforce. 4 on 4 round based one life on the 6v6 maps with the Domination flags in play. The objective was to either kill the entire enemy team (like in SnD) or capture all Dom flags. The twist was that capturing a flag would revive all fallen teammates, and this lead to what we're in my opinion much more interesting fights than in regular Dom or even SnD. It's sad that it was only in the game for such a limited time, though; I would've loved to play it throughout my time on the game.
Fastball is fun as hell though. Reinforce with twice the people, BT, and Titanfall's movement? Absolute perfection!
Edit: So Reinforce was also introduced in COD: Ghosts and Infinite Warfare, the two previous Infinity Ward titles to MW2019, but I didn't know that until now because I've never played or even wanted to watch those games.

Titanfall 2: Your weapons, your armour, and your brothers.
A battle royale mode for T2. Here speed is life, as you only get supplies from killing AI, no such thing as running around looting buildings. You gain points for everything you kill, you can bargain these points with Ash's core which happens to be in the map to get whatever you want. Otherwise you just have to scavenge whatever you find from the AI enemies. You do spawn with one gun. You gain ammo and shield for every hit on the AIs.
For the AI enemies there are:
Grunts: They're decently mobile and carry normal weapons. They're still no match for you though.
Riot Grunt: A Grunt may sometimes appear with a Plasma Shield. His aim would be worse however due to the shield blocking, and so he'd attempt to bayonet charge you. But if you manage to dodge the charge, you have a window where you can match his movements and shoot in the back, dispatching him fast. Or you can shoot at the shield, which while very resistant is destructible, or you can shoot at the exposed points such as the hand or the head. Or you can use a grenade.
Transistor Fist: A new bot that wants a piece of you. It has good amount of health and it's hands are like Gravity Hammers, it leaps at you and creates a Shockwave when it lands.
Spectre: These are rarer enemies guarding dead Titans which I'll get into later. And so they're much more dangerous, they have more health than the grunts and they can go invisible. When they go invisible they'll attempt to melee you, when they get close and try to melee they'll become only transparent instead of invisible and you'll be able to spot a glow in their eyes. In this window you can melee them back or shoot at them, which will cause them to repeat the cycle. Single fire high damage tools such as your omnipresent melees, a sniper or a shotgun are most effective against these.
Riot Machine: A bot carrying a Minigun attached to it's hand and a shield. It has a spin up time before it shoots, but it does not run out of ammo. It's accuracy isn't great but it is stubborn and will keep shooting at you. It has a bit more health than the Riot grunt, and you can use the same methods you use on them, and you can shoot their gun which will break it and they'll take some time to regenerate it. In this window you can beat their ass. These guys don't give you weapons but they do give you a lot of shield which you can use in spare and a lot of points for bargaining with Ash.
Reaper: A mini Titan hunting you down that will shoot at you with rocket launchers, you must stay airborne in order to have a change at surviving it's wrath. You just shoot these boys until they die, they don't give you any guns but they do give you fat cash.
Overlord: Reapers but they fucking fly now. These guys have lower HP though but still are nothing to scoff at, they have a weakpoint as destroying their jet pack will ground them. They also give fat cash.
Now, let's talk respawn. Your Bois when they die become Shadows and they're invisible to the enemy, but they can't really do anything to them.
They can scout and mark enemies for you though. Also when you are within their presence, you automatically generate shields without having to murder anything.
They can also reduce AI awareness.
They can revive you aswell. And they can also posses Titans when you summon them. They become players again when you buy them back with your money from Ash.
Speaking of Titans.
There are dead Titans throughout the map, you can take their parts or bring them parts. You need a chassis
(There are three chassis Stryder, Atlas and Ogre, I'll tell you more bout them if you want), you need a gun, Ordnances, Tactical ability (Which are seperate from the Chassis now), and their AI chip called "Soul" which can only be bought from Ash.
Once you gather all these parts, you can go to a dead Titan or Ash's place to build them back.
Your Titan can only be healed by your dead teammates (Shadows), so yes being dead is an advantage.
Than at the end of the game we can do two things. Either the normal battle royale finish all teams, or an Evac ship arrives and you have to get to the Evac, where Shadows cannot go (So they can only win if their teammate get there).
Also when you are a Shadow and your entire team is dead, you can posses a bot and do a bit of trolling.
If you survive till the end and manage to kill everyone including your previous teammates, you get a win and everyone else can go fuck themselves I guess. The AIs possessed will be marked as a player to enemies, and enemies will get extra points for killing a Shadow possesed bot.

I really want a mode where (like DayZ or back 4 blood) you stay alive as long as you can, with enemy cloak or A-wall pilots and northstars trying to kill you, and you need to be at the highest part of the map to get your tactical, and stuff for your guns. (no joke I actually dreamt this one up.)

Double take is from Titanfall and only real ogs or I guess people who have never played apex remember it as that,but a lot of people in apex think it’s a triple take cause they changed the name for some reason
The Fast Ball gamemode feels inspired by one of the modes from insurgency, capturing a point brings back your whole team
It really shows how much big game companies care about the games their putting out
i love northstar (it’s sad how much ive been playing) i have been having so much fun with the weird and wacky game modes like i joined a match where it was pilot v pilot and people spawned with a enhanced grapple that shoots further, your tactical is scorch’s thermal shield, and your gun is scorch’s to3-thermite launcher with no melee damage and 9k air acceleration it was insanely fun to say the least
in infection on drydock you can grapple up to this circle in the celing of the center of the map and just loop infinitely. You are near impossible to kill.
(I dont use this i just discovered it was possible)

The fast ball mode is actually very well made, a very satisfying game loop.
12:35 there's one, Insurgency franchise has mode called Firefight where u either cap all the objective to win or kill em all, and ofc u can respawn ur teammate or get respawned if one of the objective captured by your team. Yes, its very clever simple game mode that encourage people to play both actively and passively, clutching by playing the objective or the good old killing spree. It's so damn fun !

Don’t know if you have played, but my favorite game mode is we’re it’s titan brawl, except every titans ultimate, abilities, and such are random. For example, Monarch with northstar fly, ion shield, fire star, and tone ult. And every time u die it will change. It is madness, but so fun
You should try Randomizer fastball. Pilots can get titan weapons and abilities

Thank you Northstar developers, as a console player its painfully bliss seeing PC players play a game I couldn't but ultimately couldn't be more happier that the game is revived. Even though I don't own titanfall 2 I managed to fall in love with it on a weekend when it was launched for free and I really want to see it live cus maybe then I would think about buying it, but I think there is a possibility that EA will try to somehow take down the client bcs of how big of a dick this company is.

I had no idea like literally every weapon in Apex is from Titanfall lmao. I find it kinda funny that the whole hype around the game when it came out was obviously the titans and pve mix. But both of those things look like they completely died and it just turned into CoD on another engine.

The most similar mode to Fastball would be Firefight from the game "Insurgency", 3 neutral zones that both teams can capture, the team that captures it respawn their teammates. It's the official competitive playlist for Insurgency series.
I feel like devs should just give control to fans when they are talking about fixing older games like for tf2 and how in respawn there were hardly anyone trying to fix tf2 they eventually gave up but imagine the game being run by people that play the game love it and know what needs to be changed with having control over it

im glad to see this game spark back to life after it being neglected for so long, its sad console is still stuck with all the DDoSed but oh well nothing that can be done.
There's a similar game mode as fast ball in one of the CoDs, not many people played it, there were three points that started neutral and holding themgave points over time. When you capped one your team respawned. Only problem is that you could not cap any objetive and just kill the enemy since they could capture anything to respawn.

Insurgency had a mode similar to the fast ball game mode mostly in the P v AI Game modes but it was fun none the less watching the last guy rush to a point to respawn everyone

the fast ball gamemode was something similar to apex on the Halloween event with revenant
The only game mode that I think comes close to fastball is the s&d variation on Modern Warfare were you can revive individual teammates but not even as cool as that fastball game on on here.
It feels so bad to know that me and many other consoles player will probably never get this game back. It’s such an important part of most of our gaming lives that’s been stripped from us by hackers that just want to watch our worlds burn. As happy as I am for PC players it still hurts to know that the games own creators won’t even fix the game due to greed. This game changed my life but I guess all good things must come to an end right.
