- In this video, I walk you through how to customize the settings in Spectrasonics' Keyscape for your playing style, your MIDI keyboard, and your sound. While there are plenty of great presets and starting places for the feel of the instruments in Keyscape, having a better understanding of how velocity curves, dynamics, and various dials work will give you a much more rewarding performative musical experience. Have you ever wanted the default piano in Keyscape to have a "lighter" action? Or maybe one of the Rhodes was "barking" too quickly and you want the action to feel "heavier" Well, look no further because in this tutorial, we solve those problems. Also, we talk about how to adjust the tone and character of the instruments, giving you ultimate control over the tone and feel of all the instruments in Keyscape.

AbsoLUTEly would love to see (and buy) a J3PO Library of your Keyscape presets!! Just in this video alone - your acoustic pianos, your Vintage Vibe, that Wurli 140B and that Guitar Clav (what?!?!). Yes please. And thanks for all videos, man. Incredible playing and inspiration for all of us. Cheers, Ben
This is timely!
I have noticed over the years that key feel really affects how my mind and hands respond to the instrument, and the ideas that flow. Love that Keyscape offers that level of customization.
Would love to see some J3PO presets 🎉🎉🎉
They way you play that wah clavinet is just blowing my mind!!!

At last someone did a true programming video!!! It would be great to do a video on Ravenscrofts 275 piano as well. I will trying and testing everything he offered up. Thanks for the class!

Amazing!love these sounds!J3po is my favorite musician ❤
Thank you so much
Hi, could you recreate the piano sound which Coldplay uses for their current live tour? You may check out The Scientist - Live in Paris for the clear piano sound reference. I've been trying to recreate it but it's accurate only to maybe 80%? You may try out LA Custom C7 - Studio as I've been using it and twekaing it for a long time so far. You may also try out the original C7 setting and tweak around. Great video, much appreciated!
This is exactly what I was looking for
Hell yeah ❤
Thank you
Thanks
what do you think of pianoteq?
