I don’t care what Muggles or Gryffindors or Ravenclaws or Ron Weasley or anyone says about Slytherin, we are an amazing house and just because your sorted into Slytherin doesn’t mean you come out evil. Snape was described by Harry himself as “one of the bravest men” he’s ever known. Draco Malfoy turned to good in the end and became an amazing father. Narcissa Malfoy refused the Dark Mark. Personally, I believe that a true Slytherin will have a tough personality and might say the wrong thing at times, but they’ll have a heart of gold. Damn, I just realized how deep that was...
Even though I belong to the dark side of Slytherin, not every Slytherin is supposed to be termed as evil or cunning.these are not the only personalities we have
Damn, as a slytherin, I could never agree so much in my whole life time. I always get bullied by the other houses and when I came out to my friends & family that I was a Slytherin, all they said was “Awhh, how unfortunate. I feel bad for you.” Or “Are you really that mean and evil?!” They would always shame me and think of it as a disgrace or being a slytherin is “frown down apon.” What you stated was so true. I haven’t really realized all of that until you said it. It is very true indeed that Harry remarked snape as one of the bravest people he met, and draco turned out to be a good person. And narcissa refused the dark. Like you said, not all slytherin’s are bad. And it really disappoints me that all of the other houses are here shamming slytherin for all of the bad wizards and witches that came out of Slytherin, yet there are Bad Gryffindor’s, Bad Hufflepuffs, & bad Ravenclaw’s. But everyone is so stuck up with slytherin that they are simply too selfish or in denial to realize that their houses also have bad witches and wizards. That’s why I hate when I tell people that I’m a slytherin..Slytherin has a bad reputation simply because a quote from the book or the attitude or feeling of a certain character. But I love my house so much, I don’t care anymore. I have no shame in being a Slytherin, I will keep continuing to be a proud Slytherin & I will NEVER think about changing my house. 🐍
