I’m misunderstood as well, transformed into an emotional mess by people I thought I could trust, people I thought I were my friends. Draco was misunderstood because people always thought he had a dark and evil mind, making bad choices in life, but in reality he had no choice. He was forced by his parents and afraid of what they were capable of. Snape was misunderstood by Dumbledore, we see that as Harry goes into the Pensieve with Snapes memories in the 7th movie. He thought he was keeping Harry alive for Lily, his love and Harry’s mother, but turns out he was keeping him alive just so he can die from Voldemort, at the right moment. Snape is heartbroken by this, sending his patronus, a doe like Lily’s, and uses the patronus to show where the Sword of Griffindor is to Harry, Ron, and Hermione. But not all of them are misunderstood, some of them were blinded by rage, like Voldemort. Voldemort hates that the idea of his father being a muggle, and that he abandoned him and his mother, who is a witch. Voldemort has been living in an orphanage, because his mother died and his father abandoned him. When he went to Hogwarts, he decided to make a new name for him, one that people would fear saying one day, because he hated using his fathers name. He called himself Voldemort. Every year during summer break, he would return to the orphanage, and he hated it. When he was done at his time at Hogwarts, he would get all his Slytherin followers and would torture humans using magic, because Voldemort hated them all. I stood up, took the pen off him, and spent 10 minutes doing complex calculations on the whiteboard to prove him wrong. Ever since then, my Slytherin side has amplified to the point where I would be indistinguishable from Queen Bella. Anyone else had this? Ps I love the Wizard of Oz bits, the guy in it was so talented..

Most of the time Slytherins are more intertwined with the Heart and Mind, often either putting their feelings before clear thinking, or putting their Mind before the feelings of others, while Gryffindors often intertwine their Heart and Soul, putting most of the time, good morals or putting their efforts into actions that can be justified and understandable but still hold consequences, so while the two houses may have major differences, there’s no doubt that what brings them both together is the fact that often times when things get rough they put their feelings before anything else (note this does not mean in ANY way shape or form that I mean every single time, just that it is not uncommon)
The hilarious thing is that I was sorted into multiple houses. First, I got sorted into Ravenclaw(probably my love of reading) then I got sorted into Hufflepuff (which others understood but I didn't) then Gryffindor (how?) and then finally Slytherin, which I sort of agree with. But I love and accept all houses.
Headcanon: The Basilisk was a gift from Loki to Salazar, as he saw Muggles persecuting Midgardians with magical abilities he grew concerned for his Slytherin friend and his students and provided him with a way to defend themselves and in the worst case, avenge.

Most of the time Slytherins are more intertwined with the Heart and Mind, often either putting their feelings before clear thinking, or putting their Mind before the feelings of others, while Gryffindors often intertwine their Heart and Soul, putting most of the time, good morals or putting their efforts into actions that can be justified and understandable but still hold consequences, so while the two houses may have major differences, there’s no doubt that what brings them both together is the fact that often times when things get rough they put their feelings before anything else (note this does not mean in ANY way shape or form that I mean every single time, just that it is not uncommon)

The hilarious thing is that I was sorted into multiple houses. First, I got sorted into Ravenclaw(probably my love of reading) then I got sorted into Hufflepuff (which others understood but I didn't) then Gryffindor (how?) and then finally Slytherin, which I sort of agree with. But I love and accept all houses.
