yeah, do you use healers? because they're pefect for watching fights because you deal with the aftermath (I love valky because you get a sky view and you can even help fight)

another type of player would be something like a roamer, like me. people who just fly, glide, walk etc around the map, not talking much, not attacking or anything, just roaming around admiring the game and watching what is happening in certain areas
and the roamer's neutral twin, the realism/survivalist who either roam or stick tor areas, often found hunting and rarely uses the meat generators, oh and if they stick around an area maybe fight with others of their tier for territory

I really dislike those players, literally ruins the fun of the game. They needs to accept that fact that they are playing SURVIVAL GAME, where creatures eat or be eaten, but some players are taking it too seriously. I know its annoying to lose your creatures, even if its low tier, but thats thing that everyone needs to face someday. But targetting to your killer that is already low hp after fighting you, is super unfair and unsurvival game.
Last time i played sonaria, i tried kill the new juvenile T rex like creature (idk the name bc i had long break bc of toxic players) as adult Jetebene, but they logged and swapped somekind of serpent like tiny fast flier. I ofc flew away bc i didnt know what effects that creature had, and bc i was already low after fight. Then they literally started being toxic in chat, and call me with names, bc i didnt want to fight their annoying flier creature. Today, I was playing as an eiroca, trying to elder after a kora killed my previous elder because I killed his menace friend. I found a baby arachyu, and killed it to get satiated. The ara then came back as an ura. I fought them, and they ran away. I then went to equip a cat plush for bleed since I had no need for s'more cat anymore, and found the same ura. I'm just a realism survival player each time I spawned in I make sure that my creature is in the right biome and then I act like how my creature act in it's description
ye, most of the time when I do this its with my ghart living in redwoods, central rock face and tundra (I would spend more time in tundra but the only cave I can fit in is at central rock)

From what I’ve seen, roleplayers are pretty chill and don’t deserve the hate. I’ve actually seen some serious roleplays with experienced players , and I managed to join in on one. It had a whole plot, ocs and even its own religion, to due with the wardens. besides that it was lore-packed and in general a really fun experience,
Ive always been a healer. As a healer even kosers dont fight you because youre a valuable asset to them and you have a lot of superiority in the server
its awesome when healers are respected, but i rage so hard when someone kills me as a healer especially because i use mine to grind death tokens by doing missions 😭

I came to sonaria as The Isle veteran, and theres another word for this role-playing gameplay, its called realism, and i enjoy it greatly Its a little sad to know that realism is not as popular in CoS compared to The Isle, but i do roleplay still because somehow CoS is more fun, and i love the creature designs :')
Another one worth mentioning is the server king. That one guy who stands in oasis and has like 4 bodyguards who will kos anyone that goes near them. I swear i see them in every single server 😭

i once hunted a baby minawii and i was gyro so he took out kavo (i was in a pack of 5 koras) so they attacked and thats just revenge kosing gone wrong lol
Lol I love playing as big teir 5's and just walking around the map having fun, jamming to music, doing a little dance, and vibing. Once walked the entire circle of the map as a full grown boreal mashing the x button whenever a good beat came on and no one kosed me surprisingly. Had a few ppl observe my shenanigans and vibe with me sometimes while trying to match my beat but I will say it was the best time I've ever had. Tier 5 creatures don't need to be used for kosing or revenge killing or just to show off all the time. Sometimes I just wanna walk the map to a good song living life happily. If yall ever see me on sometime come say hi! I won't bite ^-^
I'm usually a casual player or survival player sometimes grinder. I'm not much a koser, and I usually find myself anti-kosing (fighting back against kosers because I'm usually a victim in kos attacks) than kosing.
I'm mostly a grinder, just doing region missions or bringing food to warden shrines while listening to music when I don't feel like doing anything else, or sometimes a role-player when I want to feel more like the creature I'm playing Occasionally, I like to annoy big creatures by ankle-biting or nesting Jeffs or Minawiis and spam-calling together
im that grinder/trader. chillin in volcano with 2 accounts using a coni with a laptop and desktop. when i get killed i dont argue or anything. i just turn into a koser. til everyone in the server is mad that they died and i move on to a different one to grind again
Pack hunters - Advanced ankle biters who get their friends together to hunt in packs as something small but with fairly high bleed poison etc. The most dangerous and powerful of the play styles.
Me and my friend came across a roleplayer, we kind of just played it off but then it got annoying during the bloodmoon, so we may have hunted them down.

One of the kinds of players you missed is the KOSed, these are usually tier 5 babies, usually kendyll or boreal. no one leaves them alone even if the're grinding or chilling. I once tried to be a trader, got scammed, only grinding form now on!
Pro Tip: If you struggle with fighting ankle biters, use a lorolael/takamorath and equip bat, as well as ember spirit plushie. The ankle biter will 90% decide to leave you alone, or 10% will die trying to kill you 😁
I'm a Koser and I'm not ashamed of that. I have gotten actually really good at pvp do to it and I come across anti-kosers and argurers all the time even today it was hilarious. I also do for satiation and I don't care if I die I just regrow and do it again. (I still make friends and I don't kill them but I do everyone else :)
I respect kosers who don't get emotional when they lose their creatures, they just accept that losing creatures is a part of the game :) Kosers definitely made the game more thrilling
I can never KOS because I always feel bad about killing other people. Like what if they just got lucky and got it from a trial token? Or it's their dream creature and they just got it?
Tbh I wish roleplayers were more common. I love following the creature discreptions, and it'd be cool if there were groups of sochuri's or something that hung out in caves then hunted at night 😃 I grew a scorpion today, it was very fun. They don't have much description, so I could make a lot of things up. Definetly recommend this to bored players.

There should be a type called "the player that keeps changing" (bassicaly me) Bassicaly this player sometimes ko's, sometimes just relaxes around the map, sometimes just afk farm and do a bunch of other shit

I'm more of a realism player myself, reading the in-game descriptions of my creature and acting like said creature it's pretty fun and rewarding if i do say so myself! [Threatening people to leave my territory before they get shredded, being neutral unless hit etc.]
I used to be an anti-koser (also in some rare occasions a koser that will stop killing when I complete the mission). However, since my schedule got busier and I got into a private server, I just went to full grinder mode, afking all day :3
Okay but the game is a rp game, but its not very, even in the legacy version thats where rp was more acceptable. In the modern cos, everyone is either trying to oof you for deathtokens, trying to oof you cause their bored, or trying to kill you because you killed their stored ankle biter. So yeah, not the best game for rps unless your in a private server or hanging out on old cos
Its survival game, not rp game, even tought rp is allowed. Ok i dont care if you rp here, but usually rp players usually starts acting very toxic if they get killed, so thats why players dont like them that much. I honestly recomend playing griffin destiny, if you want roleplay in sonaria like game. Its worth its time, you can easily customise your avatar anything you want, and nobody cant ruin your rp.

And fair, Role players do get toxic, I dont personally rp I just wanted to give tips to people who do. Like going to legacy where hanging out/ rping is more acceptable or just doing it on a priv server to avoid being targeted and killed.

6:23 btw families not always a rp, its most of the time just creating a pack of your own with a creature you realy like. just like wolves or lions or smth. which is surviving in a different way
I'm a mix of ankle biter and anti-kos'er I hunt kos players and stalk them and once they get into a fight they can't win ( usually against other more powerful anti-kos ) and try to leave im there shredding their ankles keeping them in the game FORCEFULLY.
You forgot about revenge killing players. I'm a KOSer and once I killed a random player, he got mad and became a Boreal warden, while I was Vahiaex. I understood that my chances of winning are 0% and fled into the water, then he literally called me "runner" 💀 for trying to survive.
What about the healers and the burrowers? It may be a small percentage of players, but its real fun to do either one. Theres easily an entire strategy to utilizing ani to preserve yourself every time (unless you fat finger the burrow button) and the heal beam is alot more useful than its overlooked as. The heal beam can be used for boosting the heals per second on someone pairing with your basic heaking attack, and it can also be used during active combat to heal your mvp player while dodging the enemy and your pack's attacks. The burrower is literally just someone that burrows around, capable of making some missions easier, and exploring other burrows. It can deal with anis trying to escape through their burrows, gather intel (if usinf somethinf like a kriffin), and ambush using the burrows. Do you have someone at oasis that killed your gramoss that took several hours to age due to kosers and you want to annoy them until they log out but you have absolutely no skill? (Im not drawing amy comparisons, WHALE.) Then this is the perfect set for you then!
1:17 During one of my gameplays, I was playing as a Lerachu, when I was getting attacked by a small creature, it was an ankle biter, but I took them out, then LATER in the game, another small creature attacks me, I take it out again, and then for the third time! Another small creature attacks me, I take them out, and at that point I was just considering that the small creatures that were attacking me was the same person.
I like grinding shrines and hanging out. Typically, as a moth thing, and i spent 30 minutes trying to make it look like a lunar moth, I'll show it off as much as i can. Including the giant T rex, that's grabbed me and is currently dragging me up a volcano to throw me in.

I tried killing an ankle biting Banishii as a Konomushi, four words, did not end well. I almost killed the banishii, but then a kendyll decided to swoop out of the water and grab me, which I was not expecting. Being a bit damaged already, well, you could guess how that ended.
i act randomly sometimes ngl, i very rarely chat. Only to maybe warn about a glitch (i literally glitched inside rocks twice.) or just to ask something in general. I grind so i can unlock some cool species that i like to mess around with, and i LOVE making up in my mind what gamestyle i choose for them even if it could be wrong. Like i dunno, maybe with shararook (i just got it today) i play it like a fusion of spy and engineer from team fortress 2. I lay down traps and play around the invisibility + muddy effect since he has no mobility, so i can mess with players perception in the case i am loosing a fight or i want to start one because maybe for a quest or just boredom. I am unsure what type of player i am but grinder is 100% there atleast a bit

tip about ankle biters: when a ankle biter is ankle biting you, strafte ur character into a wall as close as u can can with ur bamc to the tall and then ur behind kegs will be in the wall so theur only choice is to go for the front legs, then ur hitbox might be able to hit and kill the ankle biter.😊
I’m the type that only really plays to rp with friends, I usually join small servers though so I don’t get my only version of a creature get murdered immediately after spawn immunity disappears, but I do actual rps, not just cringey family rps. Other times, I’ll be a grinder so I can buy the creatures I can’t afford the gacha for
Koser here, and its pretty funny because the creature I’ve used has been Arkmetta, people are like “Oh cool, an easy kill!”, they come to attack me, and I deal like 450 damage each hit (with Void plushie) and poison ontop, then they go “Oh Fu#k, im screwed” MORAL OF THE STORY: dont attack funny fluffy spider mushroom.
To be fair i rarely see anti koser's in the server but when i was playing earlier as a teen kendyll. A sochuri tried killing me then. Another flier chased the sochur, to be honest seeing a koser and anti koser fight is like having a good time 💀💀💀

I'm usually a casual player or survival player sometimes grinder. I'm not much a koser, and I usually find myself anti-kosing (fighting back against kosers because I'm usually a victim in kos attacks) than kosing.
I am a survive dude, I kill to eat and then is called a koser after killing one person because I just have to eat
I'm mostly a grinder, just doing region missions or bringing food to warden shrines while listening to music when I don't feel like doing anything else, or sometimes a role-player when I want to feel more like the creature I'm playing
Occasionally, I like to annoy big creatures by ankle-biting or nesting Jeffs or Minawiis and spam-calling together

im that grinder/trader. chillin in volcano with 2 accounts using a coni with a laptop and desktop. when i get killed i dont argue or anything. i just turn into a koser. til everyone in the server is mad that they died and i move on to a different one to grind again
Pack hunters - Advanced ankle biters who get their friends together to hunt in packs as something small but with fairly high bleed poison etc. The most dangerous and powerful of the play styles.
Me and my friend came across a roleplayer, we kind of just played it off but then it got annoying during the bloodmoon, so we may have hunted them down.

One of the kinds of players you missed is the KOSed, these are usually tier 5 babies, usually kendyll or boreal. no one leaves them alone even if the're grinding or chilling.
I once tried to be a trader, got scammed, only grinding form now on!
Pro Tip: If you struggle with fighting ankle biters, use a lorolael/takamorath and equip bat, as well as ember spirit plushie. The ankle biter will 90% decide to leave you alone, or 10% will die trying to kill you 😁
When you play a survival game You ARE roleplaying, you are roleplaying as the creature

Kono players are the most vicious if ur not the same species as them but when ur a kono they are the most friendly players

I'm a Koser and I'm not ashamed of that. I have gotten actually really good at pvp do to it and I come across anti-kosers and argurers all the time even today it was hilarious. I also do for satiation and I don't care if I die I just regrow and do it again. (I still make friends and I don't kill them but I do everyone else :)
I respect kosers who don't get emotional when they lose their creatures, they just accept that losing creatures is a part of the game :)

Okay but the game is a rp game, but its not very, even in the legacy version thats where rp was more acceptable. In the modern cos, everyone is either trying to oof you for deathtokens, trying to oof you cause their bored, or trying to kill you because you killed their stored ankle biter. So yeah, not the best game for rps unless your in a private server or hanging out on old cos
Its survival game, not rp game, even tought rp is allowed. Ok i dont care if you rp here, but usually rp players usually starts acting very toxic if they get killed, so thats why players dont like them that much. I honestly recomend playing griffin destiny, if you want roleplay in sonaria like game. Its worth its time, you can easily customise your avatar anything you want, and nobody cant ruin your rp.
@@lohialli4205 i meant the older Cos, and I do see where I typed RP, I do know it’s not fully an rp game and the new one is survival, the games more of a creature collector game than anything. And fair, Role players do get toxic, I dont personally rp I just wanted to give tips to people who do. Like going to legacy where hanging out/ rping is more acceptable or just doing it on a priv server to avoid being targeted and killed.

I came to sonaria as The Isle veteran, and theres another word for this role-playing gameplay, its called realism, and i enjoy it greatly
Its a little sad to know that realism is not as popular in CoS compared to The Isle, but i do roleplay still because somehow CoS is more fun, and i love the creature designs :')

I'm a mix of ankle biter and anti-kos'er I hunt kos players and stalk them and once they get into a fight they can't win ( usually against other more powerful anti-kos ) and try to leave im there shredding their ankles keeping them in the game FORCEFULLY.

You forgot about revenge killing players. I'm a KOSer and once I killed a random player, he got mad and became a Boreal warden, while I was Vahiaex. I understood that my chances of winning are 0% and fled into the water, then he literally called me "runner" 💀 for trying to survive.
Dive-bombers: fliers who constantly somehow find a way to dive and pull back up while biting you
What about the healers and the burrowers? It may be a small percentage of players, but its real fun to do either one. Theres easily an entire strategy to utilizing ani to preserve yourself every time (unless you fat finger the burrow button) and the heal beam is alot more useful than its overlooked as. The heal beam can be used for boosting the heals per second on someone pairing with your basic heaking attack, and it can also be used during active combat to heal your mvp player while dodging the enemy and your pack's attacks. The burrower is literally just someone that burrows around, capable of making some missions easier, and exploring other burrows. It can deal with anis trying to escape through their burrows, gather intel (if usinf somethinf like a kriffin), and ambush using the burrows. Do you have someone at oasis that killed your gramoss that took several hours to age due to kosers and you want to annoy them until they log out but you have absolutely no skill? (Im not drawing amy comparisons, WHALE.) Then this is the perfect set for you then!

During one of my gameplays, I was playing as a Lerachu, when I was getting attacked by a small creature, it was an ankle biter, but I took them out, then LATER in the game, another small creature attacks me, I take it out again, and then for the third time! Another small creature attacks me, I take them out, and at that point I was just considering that the small creatures that were attacking me was the same person.
I like grinding shrines and hanging out. Typically, as a moth thing, and i spent 30 minutes trying to make it look like a lunar moth, I'll show it off as much as i can. Including the giant T rex, that's grabbed me and is currently dragging me up a volcano to throw me in.

I tried killing an ankle biting Banishii as a Konomushi, four words, did not end well. I almost killed the banishii, but then a kendyll decided to swoop out of the water and grab me, which I was not expecting. Being a bit damaged already, well, you could guess how that ended.

i act randomly sometimes ngl, i very rarely chat. Only to maybe warn about a glitch (i literally glitched inside rocks twice.) or just to ask something in general. I grind so i can unlock some cool species that i like to mess around with, and i LOVE making up in my mind what gamestyle i choose for them even if it could be wrong. Like i dunno, maybe with shararook (i just got it today) i play it like a fusion of spy and engineer from team fortress 2. I lay down traps and play around the invisibility + muddy effect since he has no mobility, so i can mess with players perception in the case i am loosing a fight or i want to start one because maybe for a quest or just boredom.

tip about ankle biters: when a ankle biter is ankle biting you, strafte ur character into a wall as close as u can can with ur bamc to the tall and then ur behind kegs will be in the wall so theur only choice is to go for the front legs, then ur hitbox might be able to hit and kill the ankle biter.😊

Koser here, and its pretty funny because the creature I’ve used has been Arkmetta, people are like “Oh cool, an easy kill!”, they come to attack me, and I deal like 450 damage each hit (with Void plushie) and poison ontop, then they go “Oh Fu#k, im screwed”

To be fair i rarely see anti koser's in the server but when i was playing earlier as a teen kendyll. A sochuri tried killing me then. Another flier chased the sochur, to be honest seeing a koser and anti koser fight is like having a good time 💀💀💀
The term Kos is kinda stupid at this point cause we have missions that involve killing players and we have blood moon which is basically shuts down kosing being a bad thing
