Thanks so much. This is where my mother came from. I can't believe the place is so developed with beautiful architectural designs. Even the roads were so muddy. It was very difficult for the buses to travel, when it rained.
You found another gem as usual. Nice to see you back and sounding much better than last week. It was nice to see in the other video how much your kids have grown, makes me feel super old. Hope you all heal well, much❤
Thought you would take some time out, not that I'm complaining sis'. You are indeed a superwoman. Thanx again for a beautiful episode 🙏🏽😍 #Singayin #VillageGangGang
Hi Velile, Happy to see you back to S/A safely.Sorry I couldn't see you in fort Lauderdale. Anyway, I am still dreaming of moving to south Africa and I am trying to save money for a land or buy a house. Thanks for the videos, we appreciate you.🥰😜😝♥️🌹
Hi! Sis V, thanks for the great content. How I wish you could meet the Real South Africa travel company owners, as a follower of both your channel and their's I think there's more potential for sharing ideas and doing business with them. Although they mostly focus on luxury travel in South Africa, I can see a gap that you could fill especially with rural tourism. Just an open idea since you have a great property emakhaya 💡❤🇿🇦
@@VelileLifestyleDecorTV sis Velile I really don’t think African Americans should be introduced to our rural areas or to even be encouraged in buying lands in the rural will be a mistake. The truth is ‘ We differ . I’m stay in the US in New Jersey to be precise and I know them well well .
Dear Sis V… may the Most High God continue to heal your hearts as the days go by. As a Diasporan of the Americas/ Caribbean, I would like to second Mapule and disagree with Le Roux above. The Real South African Travel channel is for a particular clientele from the West who may not be keen or interested in maintaining the Spirit and intent of what you are doing on your channel. Your channel is very unique and for people like myself who were raised in Caribbean islands, there is a particular respect and importance that we give to familial land ownership, the land itself (as we grow our own food whether kitchen gardens or larger) and a respect for community. The people being catered to on their luxury channel are not trying to necessarily live out these ideals. Not a fault of their own, the way of life in the U.S for many AA’s have been individualistic, extractionary and capitalist- based with no limits for exploitation. So unless, there is an intentional mind shift and a willingness to come into a rural SA village without taking over large swathes of land ( hopefully the chiefs won’t be greedy and give- in) and determining how they want to run things, I would just advise you to be mindful of any collaboration. It’s just not a right fit and I would hate for any clashes with brothers and sisters from different continents to create strife at a time where really, S. Africans are still healing and looking to move forward with their own development on historic discrimination and atrocities. African Americans themselves have a lot of divesting of their Babylonian systems to reckon with and until they are intentional about acknowledging that and sufficiently healing from their traumas to see the world through non- exploitative lenses, we should really not try to even go there (at least for the time being). Maybe later, time will tell. Personally, I don’t like the real South Africa travel channel. I just don’t think that’s the messaging that is beneficial for the Diaspora returning home or for South Africans on the ground. It’s not a good look or representative and I don’t know how it helps really. The Caribbean islands deal with this level of exploitation all the time and it’s left land ownership and breaking up of communities in shambles and many areas in poverty. Ultimately, it does take govt officials and rulers to hold and stand their ground but when people start flashing money; everything goes awry from there! Blessings & thank you for what you share on your channel. It brings me great joy to see our African brothers and sisters doing and building for themselves and their community in a self- sustainable way. Shalom!❤
🤷Well, let's see how the stars align. Rural communities also need to benefit from international travelers. The tourism sector is currently dominated by one section of the population. It will be nice to give other travelers an experience of true rural experience from a black South African perspective.♥️🇿🇦🌎✌️
