My dad bought it when we're looking for air conditioners for my parents' room and my little sister's room. My actual plan is to choose either non-inverter air conditioners, such as Sharp Gree OEM, Midea, AUX, Haier, and Mitsubishi Electric/Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. I didn't add Panasonic to our list as I found nowadays Panasonic we're not as good as before, and most of Panasonic's interesting features were removed since their T series lineup, and I don't really like their indoor unit's new design, especially the T series. Lastly, Daikin is the main one I decided to not put into our list. There are some reasons why I didn't want to put Daikin on our list. First, Daikin's new indoor design is not as interesting as their dual-swing indoor design, but at some point, they still look quite nice tho. Another reason is Daikin has already gone very very downhill on their build quality. Their new indoor unit design is notorious to be problematic. They are extremely frail. The evaporators are prone to be leaked, especially on the "very thin" U-bent part, they're rusted up very quickly too. And the most crucial thing is the indoor fan motor and the module, these two parts are notorious to be problematic as well. Veeeryyyy frail! Why crucial? Because the fan motor's DC and they're shaped like a pancake, and once one of these parts broke, then you have to change both parts. The fan motor cannot be outsmarted by anything as I found they are much different than the usual indoor fan motor on other indoor units. The PCB/module tends to have an error. Then why if one of these parts broke we have to change both parts? There's a sensor to detect the presence of the fan motor. Usually, for anyone who tried to outsmart the pancake DC fan motor, the problem spreads to the other internal parts, especially to the module. The spare parts for both "pancake" DC fan motor and the module's costs around Rp 1.500.000 (around 45 USD), very expensive. In my opinion, it's not worth it for a "junk and frail" spare fan motor with a price that expensive. So I suggest you guys to NOT buy Daikin with the new indoor unit design if you don't want to feel regretful later. And if you think Chinese products are always junk, nope! Some Chinese products have good build quality (like Gree as an example), and new Daikin is a prime example that Chinese prides aren't always a junk.
We decided to choose a multi-split air conditioner as we had insufficient space for two outdoor units if we buy separate air conditioners for each room. The available multi-split brands in our market right now are only Daikin and Gree. I'd rather choose Gree instead of this Mr. D, but due to Daikin's marketing strategy, my dad's interested to take the Daikin. I've explained anything about Daikin to my dad, especially the build quality and the common problem it has, but my dad doesn't seem to care at all about its weaknesses and decided to buy it without too much hesitation. But anyway, here it is! It's the 2 indoor combinations, we didn't take the 3 indoor combinations as I want to use my old air conditioner for my own bedroom (the Panasonic CS-C9PKP, I still have it). It has the exact same design as FTKC_QVM4 as its design is based on FTKC_QVM4's indoor unit (as well as FTC_NV14, the non-inverter version which is a lot more common). And it's the very first inverter air conditioner I have ever own in my whole life! If once I had a chance to own a Daikin, I would like to get FTM_JV14 or FTKV_NVM4 (the inverter version of FTM_JV14), instead of this "Smile Curve" model. But I am still pleased to own this one, although mine was the newer and "unreliable" version. It has a Low Watt feature that functions to make its energy consumption more efficient and has 2 levels for the Low Watt mode. On level 1, the power indicator getting dimmer, and it'll cut the compressor's performance a bit. On level 2, the power indicator gets even dimmer, and it cut the compressor's performance even more. But we never use it because it results in less cold to the room itself due to the compressor's performance being reduced. I couldn't explain more regarding this air conditioner, as it didn't have any special functions (Daikin's typical), and the shape of the indoor unit was very usual. So I'm not really surprised (even not surprised at all) when the first time I opened the box before it got installed.

Btw,Europeans daikin (FTX____V1B) low watt feature is called econo and if you activate it, the air cond's compresor speed won't cut and it will operate with a lower watt

Daikin was one of my choices before I bought my Midea Inverter mini-split AC. Although I actually like to go for Daikin D-Smart series which has the exact same design of the indoor with that, I instead went for Midea since it was cheaper than Daikin here in the Philippine markets and I really love the LED display that Midea OEM's have and it was my very first inverter AC I ever had in my life ever since. Maybe your family should have just decided to pick Midea instead since they are a lot durable like Gree as well.
sorry for the late reply. i would love to pick Midea inverter if i had more space for two outdoor units. but due to the insufficient space so my family had to choose multi-split over single splits, and multi-spit brands which available in Indonesian market right now are only Gree and Daikin. i'd like to go for Gree Combo-S instead of this Daikin Multi-S. but it's my dad's decision to pick this Daikin Multi-S, and i couldn't do anything as my dad's keep arguing on my own opinion regarding Daikin ACs.

nope, because my outdoor unit is only capable for 2 indoor units only. if we forced to attach more indoor unit, then the cooling capacities of each indoor unit would be reduced. not only that, because this is an inverter so it has a computer unit on the outdoor unit, and definitely an error would happen due to the mismatched system between the indoor unit and the outdoor unit.

Can you tell that if you run one unit then how much load it takes. Basically I want to understand that does it run on full load everytime or it increases or decreases load depending on number of AC running?
It decreases/increases load depending on the number of aircon running. The fan will spin slower if there is less units

i think star inverter's better. the smile series just like the one i have had a lot of downsides as what i have explained in the description box. but i think you better to pick other brands aside from daikin, because today's daikin are sucks, their quality has already gone downhill.

hmm, i would recommend mitsubishi and panasonic for japanese brands. but there are some chinese ac brands that are good enough, such as gree, midea, and aux.

Sayangnya ada kelemahannya yaitu kalau outdoornya rusak, indoornya juga ikut rusak

The European version of this (FTXF____V1B) it's a lot more durable. They don't have pancakes fan motors and they're very cold.
