this is totally unrelated, but when i was in third grade, i had a crush on a boy. this crush continued on until 5th grade when my ex-best friend told him i liked him and he told me he didn't like me back. (she was trash btw) i was ashamed and a year later my 6th grade spanish teacher decided that we were a "good pair" for each other and sat us next to each other for the WHOLE YEAR. well, as if it couldn't get any worse, i was moving across the country in the summer of 7th grade. i wrote him a letter (with the help of my NEW bestie) about how sorry i was and delivered it to him. i gave him my number in the letter, but i got no response and i thought nothing of it. a few months later, i was on facetime with my bestie who wrote the letter with me and she told me he came up to her and said to tell me that he hated me and he's glad i moved away. turns out that he didn't even read the letter and ripped the envelope to shreds, not even opening it. (i poured my heart and soul into that letter, i spent a 3 months planning it out.) the icing on the cake is that our younger sisters are friends and call multiple times a week. their whole family is coming for new years this year. if i don’t show up when school starts again, you know where to find me. dead. in the ground. 6 feet under. ✌💀
