I've rewatched a few of these old bristol races in the past few days. My god were these races action packed, and I'm not talking about the wrecks. So many nears misses, almost wrecks, sheet metal flying, no wonder this place was sold out for years. Why the hell did they chance it? Its so tame of a race track today, it races like a mile and a half now....

Just look at the stands for the cup race yesterday. This crowd may not look spectacular but there wa sliterally ten times the people here for a busch race compared to yesterdays cup race. It's a sin they just keep putting nail after nail into this sports coffin
