The real life story is heartbreaking. There are several interviews with AZie Faisin who was the real Ace , on TH-cam that you can watch where he recounts his full story. Also the real Rico, real name Alpo got killed after his release from prison because he was dumb enough to be hanging out in Harlem after all the dirt he did over the years
I used to live a block from where AZ (Ace in the movie) got shot with his family, 1295 Grand Concourse was the building were that happened back in 1987, in the movie it says it was 1986 but you can find a news article on Google about the incident, all I remember was the commotion in the neighborhood about what went down and I never really found out about what truly happened until Paid In Full came out and I put two and two together.
It's Crazy The Person That Rico Played (Alpo) Got Out Of Jail Like a Year or 2 Ago... He Was Moving Around Harlem Like He Was King For a Few Months Then They Killed Him
they look older in the movie, but in real life, they was 17 and 18 yr old millionaires
What she said at the end was so real, "the streets don't give you no love they just take you away from the ones who do love you." That was such a real quote. This was the greatest reaction to this movie in my opinion. Well done ma'am.
Miss India, I dont know u apart from your reaction videos but whenever u react to anything with substance or even in general u emit an energy that hits me EVERY SINGLE TIME. Its like I can can feel your frequency/energy straight thru the my screen and it so potent at times. I dont know how to describe it but your soul is very precious and I can feel it. Take care of your self and whatever youre doing to be on such a high frequency, please dont stop. Blessings always.
BELLY, ABOVE THE RIM, COLORS, SOUTH CENTRAL, BLOOD IN & BLOOD OUT, MENACE 2 SOCIETY, HIGHER LEARNING & NEW JACK CITY
Belly is too unrealistic for me
Ace(Azie) wasn’t trying to fit in. He just wanted to make some good money and stay lowkey. He just stayed in the game too long. Rest in the peace to the real Mitch (rich porter) but he was kindve the reason everything went bad. He should’ve known Rico( alpo) wasn’t a solid dude. Now the situation with his own family, I can’t fault him for that. Even though he sold his uncle the drugs, his uncle should’ve known better than to do his own family like that, even if he was messed up all the time.
I said the same, Ace loved to see Mitch with the fancy stuff cause that’s what he was use to but Ace wanted to stay out that spot light but at the same time put his friend on & Mitch was a real one to Ace
yeah you suppose to get in and out and move to another place
The dragging out of the car scene was real and unscripted
Rico? Word?
Yeah
The betrayals in this movie was sick as someone whose been betrayed this shit hits home. I got a uncle like uncle ice I get pay checks from a job he had his hand out and hawking me down. It was to a point where I hated having money cause it felt like I was just working so he could drink and do drugs.
One of my personal favs!!! “Water” I’ve used ever since and it’s not often enough someone calls me out like “is that paid in full”
R.i.P. Rich Porter ( The Real Mitch) Alpo ( The Real Rico ) was killed last year or the year before. when he got out of jail he was back hustlin and catching bodies and got into it with a young boy who eventually put him down
Alpo was a crazy Gemini 🤣
& Long Live Donnell Porter, how you gon forget lil man 🕊
This was a easy film for Mekhi Phifer & Killa Cam . They was just being Themselves #Harlem
The person who killed the boy name was david preacher collins was way worse than what the movie made him out to be.
Hood life living with stressful for 98% of the time. The 2% of time was cool until sht pops off. Road to 20k.
Your reactions are dope. Next you gotta do South Central.
This is a sad story . Poor kid and it was the uncle who did it.. piece of shit... I've seen the fbi files on this story..
Love this one. Rewatch value and the lessons/messages it conveys are solid.
The reality is that they used adult actors but in reality that crew was high school age.
That explains it sis I was saying how you never saw any of these hood classics
I use to have doctors appointments near china town and I use to have to pass Harlem to go there…lemme tell you nothing like Harlem..i know a lot of bad shit happend there but it felt like family if that means anything
The guy who inspired Rico’s character was recently murdered a few years ago. His name was Alpo. The true story behind this is even crazier.
One of my favs and I ❤ your reactions
The drug game... The rewards can be phenomenal, but be prepared for what comes with it. Awhile back, in my old Bronx neighborhood, there would be periodic/semi regular shootouts on my block between the two warring drug crews that local media would never report because Mayor Bloomberg's administration was busy marketing NYC as _Safest Big City in America_ to inevitably gentrify this place to hell. But just the amount of heartache that I saw in that brief few years that I'd lived on that block definitely made it seem like it wasn't worth it. The guys on my block were even paying off cops in our local precinct, but that never lasts forever.
Not only does it impact you, but oftentimes innocent loved ones get caught up in it. Bystanders get put in the hospitals and morgues. Kids' parents in the game end up the same or locked up, leaving those kids with no guidance and love.
I did *a lot* of unnecessary "young & dumb" stuff when I was a kid that I'm lucky I've never been to jail or worse for, but I'm glad the drug game wasn't one of them, because who knows jow that would've turned out? 🤷🏾♂️

32:28 No! Not a good friend at all.
he sold his uncle the drugs before he was gettin high, he started gettin high rather than selling the drugs...
You should watch the Alpo story its the real truth about paid in full
This movie is a classic like a caprice. Me and my family can quote his whole movie.
@@johngreen6521 I'm shocked he lasted as long as he did. I feel no ways about his departure 💅🏾
Actually had a job at a cleaners for almost a decade, also ran into the same situation but wasn't coke.
Check out "Devil in a Blue dress"...
The guy with the drug dealer with the glasses in the beginning is also the father on snowfall alton.
I doubt she seen it I been trying to get her to start the show.
Polls on patreon . Sorry I try to hurry and do a lot .. we have to build so I can not work at warehouse lmao and I can Do WAY MORE FAST ! Lmao like and subscribe please
Thanks for that info I didn't recognize him.
That’s Stephen A before his espn gig
Ice is Mitch's uncle and his mom's brother
1:30 no regrets. Your life is a Black experience. Urban life is not all Black culture. It is glamorous because poor people are glamorized while also blaming them for being poor, not capitalism and the prison industry.
Biracial mom is something other Black people as yourself can relate.
I don’t get sweaty B
Ur "pin" game is a-1
Tommy was the most dangerous one he was known as the black hand of death
Preacher and his crew were the black version of the demeo crew who ran with the gambinos their basement was like the Gemini lounge
Classic
31:00 That was a real outtake camron wasnt supposed to pull the driver out they kept it in the movie Now wath The Wire on Max
Game Over is another documentary on what took place... Azie (Ace) was a rapper and made songs that was known locally but never really went big.
India, please react to "The Help" (2011)
First like and comment
Appreciate you
I hate how they added in that “fist holding a gun” on the poster, when it was released on DVD. I guess they wanted the movie to be more ghetto than “it is”....
This was a real story alpo,,azie and rich porter but it ended differently than the movie.
You gotta watch “game over” its the true story of Rich Porter and his lil brother. This is a true story
You should watch the Alpo Mayor of Harlem Documentary
Oye!😢😮🤔🥰🖥
Watched that movie for 25 years
R.I.P Rich Porter and Darnell
