The drawback difficulty rating for that second game feels very weird to me. I don't see how "Lose the game if you get checked three times" is easier than "Move to this one specific square, but only if you have a piece (or pawn) that's able to move there."
Not really, by that time he'd lost both knights so his drawback wasn't active. Dude was just biding his time getting rid of his own pieces, then simp got too confident and lost hard.
What do you mean? It's literally mate in 1 in the final position. Simp cannot capture the king, and the opponent has no knights so they have no drawback. If Simp had known from the start he might have a shot, but not when he resigned...
Third game, the opponent could literally walk the king up the board. Their drawback can never get in the way if they never move their queen. The way they only notice this after Simp forks the queen and rook is truly baffling. And Simp is too nice btw, Triple Play can also be considered an instant loss drawback, unless your opponent has an equally hard drawback like Medusa.
"Good Midnight everyone." Unless you work those hours, who's still up at this hour on _Christmas?_ "...he obviously doesn't know about [my drawback." my brother in darya you've been revealing your drawback turn zero
5:53 "He obviously doesn't know about it" - I'm guessing you forgot that you revealed it? Maybe you defaulted to the mindset you have with your normal videos?
When you think about it, if draws didn't count as wins in Drawback Chess, then this variant would obviously be called "Winback Chess". I agree with Simp on this one.
That knight "sacrifice" made the opponent realise the power they'd been possessing the whole time
Edit: spelling
Actually, the opponent first had to strategically get rid of all his Knights, to not get stunlocked by something staring at his Queen.
What does the word "sacrify" that you're coining here imply that the existing word "sacrifice" doesn't?
@@JackVermicelli I imply that English is not my first language and I forgot how the word is spelt, apologise
The first game perfectly proves Simp's cowardly nature.
The first game, neither player can win melee combat 😂
The drawback of the opponent is strictly weaker than Simp's drawback, it only applies to captures instead of all moves but it's the same otherwise.
The funny thing is seeing that king coming slowly and MANACINGLY, knowing it could not be stopped.
I suppose if it's a king it would be MANacing...
5:53 "He obviously doesn't know about it."
Earlier: "Reveal drawback to opponent."
Your point being?
A lot of players don't realise what advantages some drawbackq give them.
Until the knight move, it seemed to be the case here.
Simp revealing it doesn't mean the opponent read it.
Also don't forget the opponent wanted to get rid of his knights before going for the kill, which Simp wasn't aware of.
@cathsaigh2197 True, but it's a reasonable assumption.
we need to appreciate that the third opponent traded his knights to nullify his drawback and then used simp drawback to win, testosterone.
You both have drawbacks, so draws are 100% cowardly and not a win. Drawback Chess Speedrun today, 100% coward rate.
#1: cowardly draw
#2: did not sacrifice woman
#3: resignation
That's a 300% coward rate if you ask me
2:30 The opponent had a slighly nerfed version of Simp's drawback.
It was totally winnable. Simp's main fear, of melee combat, also couldn't be done by the opponent. Simp took the coward's route.
1 win, 1 loss, 1 draw
100% - 100% +0%
0% winrate

Isn’t queen takes knight just a free piece?
Yes ksksks
No. In normal chess, yes. But due to the drawback, it's easy to see this gets his queen trapped.
@@aliceroberts5928 How so? There's nothing that restricts his pieces from moving.
@@GTron13yeah that’s what I was thinking
@aliceroberts5928 How? That capture has no effect on his drawback. If anything it helps his drawback as it keeps his bishop alive
2:15 low testosterone move
Low iq/entertainment move*

The drawbacks are based on not revealing them. If you didn’t know you had to check three times, you wouldn’t sacrifice two pieces.
@@peteyboo That's a very good point, I didn't really consider that.
The eight wonder of the world: Chess Simp in Drawback Chess
Draws are draws
Lelouch: "See? I told you it wasn't because I was a coward!"
Hence proved, Simp is Lelouch in disguise... lol

Funny thing is the local time when he posted the video was 7 pm (Vietnam GMT + 7), also not midnight lol
@@noideawhatever lol
Idk he's usually right about me watching things around midnight though.
That first game was hilarious. They had the same drawback Simp's was just the more advanced version.
For that last game, you should have captured their queen, just in case he got the "if you loose the queen you lose the game" drawback
2:29 omg 😂😂😂
that made me giggle
I'm subscribed with bell on. Had to search the video as it didn't appear on my subscription feed. Wtf TH-cam.
4:46 missed free horsey.
the funny thing is, looking at the last guy's drawback, if simp didn't resign, he'd actually have a fighting chance
Not really, by that time he'd lost both knights so his drawback wasn't active. Dude was just biding his time getting rid of his own pieces, then simp got too confident and lost hard.

So you provoked your opponent to actually try to use your drawback against you. The outcome is pretty predictable.
4:47 free knight no? QxH5

He was doing it on purpose, he was getting rid of the knights.

my brother in darya you've been revealing your drawback turn zero
Checkmate with every piece
Missed opportunity to say merry christmas everyone in the intro
“reveal challenge”
“he doesn’t know that,right”
???
4:07 ....In what world is "Stay on one specific square" harder than "Three strikes and you're out" ?
You're not supposed to know the opponent's drawback. Without knowing it, you wouldn't randomly throw your pieces at the king for a free win
You're not supposed to know the opponent's drawback. Without knowing it, you wouldn't randomly throw your pieces at the king for a free win
4:49 couldn’t you just capture the knight? It was free, no?
4:48 am I missing something or was that just a free knight
I think you should not reveal the drawbacks that is impossible when revealed
Drawback chess should have a "Offer Reveal" option where if the opponent accepts, then both drawbacks will be revealed
Coward move
I think he should
Bro, when will this guy reach 4000 elo
It's 7pm in Vietnam when you posted this video. Not midnight.
MERRYY CHRISTMAS!!
Also, can we talk about how the opponent of the first game had a nearly identical drawback
These videos would be better with further ado
second game you were a coward for using his revealed and very obviously worse drawback to win
Playing for a draw is a coward's plan.
Merry Christmas
Marry Christmas
Spoiler here : Checkmate with king is REAL
Nah you're a P for forcing that draw in the first game with that big of an advantage. It's better to lose with honor.
Bro... why reveal your drawback? Lmfao the point is to hide it and deduce your opponents draw back
Merry Christmas Chess Simp

I wonder how to get 100% win rate when he gets only losses :)
-100%×-100%^0%=100%
Don't question why 2 games are -100% and one is 0%, it's simple maths
Never question an Asian's math
