- Sahastradhara, which literaly means 'Thousand fold spring' is a famous tourist spot in Dehradun. Baldi river flows in Sahastradhara, Tourist visit Sahastradhara in large numbers to watch beauty of waterfalls and caves.
Sahastradhara is famous for it's Sulphur Water springs, by taking bath in this water it cures manyskin problems.
There is also a ropeway in sahastradhara which takes you to the top of the mountain, sahastradhara also had a joyland water park.
There are many accomadation facility available near sahastradhara, you can find a Hotel in the price range of Rs 500 to Rs 2500.
Sahastradhara is 14 Kms from Dehradun Railway Station & 36 Kms from Dehradun Airport.

Hi,how is rudraprayag ??I have heard a lot about that place..and patal Bhuvneshwar also...have you been there any chance??also suggest best and nearest place in uttrakhand where we can see scenic beauty and less crowd!! preferably shivji temple!!
I have been to Rudraprayag and Patal Bhuvneshwar both place are beautiful....If you wanna go to Shiva Temple then there is a beautiful Shiva temple called Tarkeshwar Mahadev near Lansdowne in pauri garhwal which is very less crowded and very beautiful place to explore and If you can do a trek of about 3.5 kms then Tungnath temple is amazing place in rudrapryag district 😊
