    Hi Enyaq Gorm, thank you for sharing some your first moments with the ME3. We appreciate your feedback in the video. 💚

    You are lucky to be getting the mileage you have stated. I have the software update on my Enyaq and on a return trip from Glasgow to Ingliston yesterday I was getting 2.1 miles/kWh. I also have the heat pump fitted.

      no luck, and all about how you drive. This is my 4th EV so I know how to get the best efficiency. I have never seen it as low as 2.1

      @@enyaq_gorm It was wet and cold that day. 3.1 on trip to Irvine so improving as the weather improves. After a puncture repair I noticed that all my tyres were inflated to 2.2 bar instead of the recommended 2.7 bar. That may have made a difference. I've now set them to 2.7 to see if that improves range. Keep up the good work.

    Will have to have another look at Skoda Sat Nav, I have never looked at it since update as I have issues with the Skoda Sat Nav not taking me to set destination at times. I am on IOS, don’t think that should make a diff on the onboard system and my Skoda Sat Nav doesn’t look anything like the one you had on screen, will need to give it another try.

    Now you've done the local run on Skoda sat nav Off like to see how you get on on one of your journeys down south just using it. Go on be brave & take one for the good of the Group 🤣🤣🤣.

      Bit of a squeeze on costs at work, trips are frowned upon now when you can do so much in teams 😔

      @Enyaq Gorm - simply clever EV That's just not fair 🤔🤣🤣. Oh well I've got a round trip to Leith & back to
      South Lanarkshire about 120 miles so I'm going to follow the Enyaq sat nav & see how it gets on 🤔. I don't have your Beta version of Android Auto & the car won't hold the 2 sat navs at once. There won't be any video either 🤣.

    Hi, I collect my new Enyaq in a couple of days. As someone new to EV driving I would love a start up video to help get to grips with my new experience. Thanks Harry

      I have waited 6 month, dealer told me that i have to wait more likely 9 month more before i get mine. Well one good thing that infotainment for sure then is less annoying.

    I notice you think the battery heating should come on after a certain length of journey time. I'm sure I read somewhere that its to do with temperature. Pre 3.0 it would turn on the battery heating at fairly warm 6 or 7 degrees, but now its not putting it on till the temp hits below 2 I think. These figures are from memory and probably off. Be interesting to see if you can verify this, Thanks for the great videos.

    • @enyaq_gorm
      @enyaq_gorm  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes I have now seen this, not sure when it triggers but it definitely heats up until the battery reaches 2 degrees. It happened to me when the ambient temperature was minus 11. From memory I think the battery was at minus 5 when I started the car.

    Another interesting and informative video - many thanks. Had my ME3 update on my IV60 about 5 weeks ago and concur with your overview of the advantages. All systems are reset as part of the process and my previous average kWh of 3.9 over some 6k, from February to October has actually dropped to 3.4 kWh over the 500 miles since ME3. This might in part be due to the onset of colder weather but would it have reduced even further without the upgrade?
    Looking to the promised OTA updates, but wonder how long before they actually happen, even now our upgraded Enyaqs are behind new vehicles which come with ME3.1. In comp my 2 month old Tesla has had at least 4 software updates.

      @enyaq_gorm  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      3.1 rollout was announced yesterday. My tesla used to get updated regularly, but they invariably broke as many things as they fixed. No thanks, I'm quite happy with the mantra 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it'

    • @ColinPreston
      @ColinPreston 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You're finding the same as me 3.9 before update, which has dropped to 3.6 long term & this morning my 40 mile journey returned 3.1, mind you it was a tad chilly around 0 degrees. (21in wheels with heat pump.)

    • @enyaq_gorm
      @enyaq_gorm  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      In my experience after a few months of owning a Tesla I came to dread updates as they usually broke as muc as they fixed. I'm happy for a slow and steady pace of updates instead.

    Is that android auto version 8.4.624324 release on 2nd November?

    • @enyaq_gorm

    • @Notagain640
      @Notagain640 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@enyaq_gorm I've just installed this but because the beta is now closed I don't think it installs properly/fully. I get the 8. 6.124844 "release daily" in the app version but probably the supporting modules are not included in the download so it all still looks and works the same. I guess I'll just have to wait until sometime next year for the official release. I'm on ME 3.1 BTW and I'm really happy with it. Thanks for the great content, as usual.

    Only 140 miles range 🤣

    • @enyaq_gorm
      @enyaq_gorm  ปีที่แล้ว

      140? Not on the enyaq. I've never tested its maximum range as I usually want to stop after between 2 and 3 hours of driving. So I have no idea what the range is. It's certainly got more range than me which is all I really need

    • @enyaq_gorm
      @enyaq_gorm  ปีที่แล้ว

      3.4 m/kWh would give a range of 197 not 140, but like I say, I always need to stop for a toilet or food break after between 2 and 3 hours so I never get to 197. On the earlier drive I was getting 3.9 which is 227 miles
