  • Classical saxophonist Javier Oviedo performs the Rhapsody for orchestra and alto saxophone by Claude Debussy. Composed in solo and piano form in 1911 and orchestrated in 1919 by Jean Roger-Ducasse, the piece was commissioned by American saxophonist Ellise Hall. The first performance was in Paris in May 1919 performed by saxophonist Pierre Mayeur.
    This recording is with the City of Prague Philharmonic under the direction of Maestro Jean-Pierre Schmitt.
