@@josiahgonzalez942 it’s a joke relax. I only say that bc i fucking hate cazadores. I can kill them but i do a lot of prep work to make sure my character and companions don’t get killed and sneak kill them from a distance.

Helps that their stingers are apparently 10 feet long and invisible. That thing was nowhere near him when it was stinging lol.
It's funny, I'm more scared of cazadors than deathclaws, yet cazadors are comparatively easier to kill.
They're annoying as hell tho, I underestimated them once and got killed for it, then I tried killing them numerous times over and over yet I still couldn't, they really aren't to be underestimated
After getting the Old World Blues perk that makes you immune to poisoning, they just become annoying instead of terrifying.

It's how i beat the legendary bloatfly with my melee build, oh baby(or whatever weapon that can knock in vats) + super slam, perma stunned to the ground and in 5 second or less it was dead

It's simple. Lanius is the real life (In Fallout) Dragonborn. He simply just focused his Thu'um into the blade with the Elemental Fury shout and knocked it down.

@elgatochurro yes this is the most important skill for big two handed melee characters, learning the timing of the spin attack to hit enemies before they can hit you

That damn fly did not want to die lmao, even after all those knockdowns, it still got up a lot faster than all the legendary creatures, and took in tons of hits before dying, AND it took Lanius with it to hell.
The stunlock vs the deathclaw was so lucky.
You know for what it's worth as long as the enemy can get knocked down Lanius might have a chance at beating everything.
Some enemies are still too strong for him, like Gojira
For those who don't know, Gojira has the most health of any creature in the game at 8000 health, so there was no way it would have lost, even in that free for all. XD
I think that's not the original gojira in the geck file or maybe it's just a regular legendary giant fire gecko

@@randomvideoguy9336no it was scrapped. That's why it looks like a gecko it was supposed to be a different monster but after it got scrapped out of the game they just gave him the gecko skin.

Cazadors terrify me to an insane degree, if they get anywhere near me especially if they catch me by surprise after I hear the buzzing, I almost put my headset down and walk away.

In my ncr/independent/house playthroughs lanius would take 2-4 hits of virtually any weapon (trail carbine or some melee usually) and run off to heal while basic legionaries came to defend him/cover his ass.
Lanius isnt meant to be a encountered on his own... and neither is the deathclaw. Hence they are balanced a bit more equally.

Would be fun if there was a quest that involved killing all the legendary beasts and taking their heads as trophies. Similar to the quest you get from the thorn for collecting different eggs and have the heads showcased in the lucky 38 similar to the snowglobes

Imagine this in real life, hearing some dude in metal armour with a sword made from a helicopter blade killed a deathclaw, a mutated military monster designed to rip through power armour. Safe to say I would be surrendering to the legion if they came knocking

No shit he one shotted a death claw, he was the size of one with the power of five. Lanius was a guy with a helicopter blade for a sword.

A great showcase into why Stonewall is fairly useful if you wind up ever having to fight Lanius.
I played New Vegas so many times but never knew there were legendary enemies
The melee range on the cazadors was such a troll by the developers. This match up really highlights it. That one round against the deathclaw was crazy. The knock down effect is unstoppable if it procs often enough. Gojira went limp so many times you could call it an homage to the rubber suits of his namesake.

You know how you let the same battle restart over again to see if the legate will die or get lucky the second time, instead of re-doing the same battle twice in the same location, do the second restart at a more tighter location, for example in the thorn area underground.

you can knock someone out with golden glove and they will sleep for hours ingame. you really can do anything with it really.

I Like how you did multiple battles avoid saying win just do to pure luck which is needed do to Lanius ability to trip a enemy like lanius had no right to tie against the legendary bloatfly but rng was on his side causing said tie simlar example is the legendary deathclaw and possibly the first legendary cazador fight because it looked like most of lanius attacks missed and was rarely attacked

@@M0rshu64 The math is bonkers for that. Hollow points multiply not only base damage but also crit damage.
55×1.75=96.25
110×1.75=192.5
Add those two up and you get 288.75
Multiply that by two for a head shot 577.5 and then that by two for a sneak attack crit and you got 1,155. You subtract 45 from that since their DT is multiplied by 3 but that's nothing conmpared to how much the dam increased. Consider the fact this doesn't even factor in any perks. That's just a character with the gun skill to use the weapon.

Im new to the channel but have you ever just made all the heads of factions duke it out? Or all final dlc bosses against each other?
What the cazadors lack in toughness, they make up for with speed, agility, reach, and relentless attacks. The disorienting poison is also a factor when fighting them. I HATED them. I always took either a powerful, hidden, ranged approach or I just averted my traveling route all together to go around them. They're near impossible to fight without VATS.
generally, you need to VATS the Wings, cripple one of them and they lose their edge. early game even a couple handgun shots will cripple a wing.
I honestly would like to see Frank Horrigan against Fallout NV in general.
Cannonically Horrigan is the most deadly creature in the entire Fallout Universe, he can casually split a Deathclaw in half.
Motor-Runner vs Mean Sonofabitch, or maybe Nightkin vs NCR if you haven’t done that already.
Melee builds must love the Legendary Bloatfly.

Lanius is such a cool character but i feel like they did him wrong in new Vegas. Hes basically your rival yet you only hear rumors that he's good but no actual interactions or anything at all from him. Remember frank horrigan and how you see him slaughter a lot of people? In new Vegas its just caesar this and caesar that. It takes an entire main quest just to finally face off against him and you can easily wipe him out even on the hardest difficulty. I can't remember how but I figured out a way to somehow make NPCs more resistant than they should a long time ago and to say the least it was a spectacular battle... For me at least. I no joke sent lanius to the moon or in fallout terms outside of the cell walls. I placed a ton of c4 and he was launched in the air but didn't die somehow. When he finally landed he landed outside of the map as I had said before, just trying to be clear about this... And yeah... He... He's an astronaut. Expect to see him in starfield.
