My Christmas present last year from my daughter-in-law was 12 books wrapped in brown paper with the month written on them and a small design as a clue to what the book was about ,so far I have read none of the 12 before I think she is doing it again this year. The best part this from a girl who does not read novels at all. So lots of love in the present.
Oh, wow! It's such a mindful and lovely present 😍 actually after watching the video my husband told that it's not right that I make and buy all the presents for myself without having any surprise element to my advent calendar, so now he is going to make his contribution 😁 and I'm so curious what books he is going to pick 😊

Your painting of the bookcase was stunning as were all your bookish items.I even have book earrings with little dragons hanging off them. The girl who made them printed a poem down very small in this case the jabberwocky and folded it into a book shape only about an inch high and less than half an inch wide she then made a cover for it before attaching a small bead at the top before the hook and hanging a small charm at the bottom. I only wish I had had the money to buy more than one set of earrings.
