Hey fellow knights! before you mention it, im aware the brightness is way too low. My other builds videos have been fine, the only edit i did differently was making it 2k HD instead of 1920x1080, no idea how it caused for such high contrast and darkness. Just know it wasn't intentional and wont happen again and I hope you can see past it (pun)
youtube makes every video darker automaticly depending on video file. what editing software do you use?

Hey man ur right it’s super weird, the only thing 8 changed was instead of 1920x1080 8 ran it in 2k, there are no filters or brightness/contrast changes. Won’t let it happen again

I usually go with either pole axe + Warhammer (instead of second wind) or else war axe and axe (same idea) so I can either switch to a faster weapon to put on more timing pressure or have a backup if I'm disarmed.

I guess this is an old video and you probably wont see this but whats your take on the Rapier? Ive been using it and it feels really strong, but granted im in the low ranks and i think the stab only meta might get a bit stale.

Does SW give you extra stamina on sucessfull hits - i mean that reached opponent's body - only?

@@KNGHTS I supposed it is, but wasn't rly sure. So doesn't this perk overrated too much?
I mean if u use it w/ heavy enough - not so heavy, even longsword! - weapon, SW will give from 0 up to 4 stam at the end of the duel. Very low amount imho.
I wanna say: this perk should be smart with something that has low damage, but how about most part of this solid 5+ points weapons?..

everything is usable. Spear Zwei Bastard Sword Messer Great/exe Sword are all "meta"

My all-round build is a 2 3 2 friendly great/long sword and bandages. Idea taken from your previous vids hahaha
I also use a 2 3 2 friendly axe (regular 1 hand axe) and bandages

@@sebleonard8273 yeah that's why I just keep separate duelist versions of things so I don't have to actively switch out perks

Not a dark mode accidental darkness when editing. Outro is a custom snipet not a song. Unsubbed because you lost? Haha ok bud.

My bild is 3-3-2 Bastard sword + Dodges. Or same with a Rapier(usually dont using a Rapier but yesterday try it and it feels awesome to play)
Using Dodge in 3 ways:
1)back-dodging to force an enemy to miss and make a choise: losing a tonn of stamina doing combo-feint-parry or take a hit while recovery after miss, if he chooses to lose stamina then i changing my playstyle to "very safe and slowpushing" to try to outstam him.
2)doing unexpected sidestep-dodge in close\mid range to gamble enemy stab with my stab
3)spamming back-dodges to avoid those dozens of geniuses with a Flesh Wound :D

Blind gambling is bad, smart gambling is a part of your overall skill and must be learned as well
You know that gambling is luck? You know that there are mechanics to win your opponent? Who should win? The one that role the dice and win (momentarily because overall will lose)? Or the one who knows what he is going and win you by skill?
"gambling is a luck" - its newbies understanding оf that word.
Gambling it is an attack when its not your "turn" (not your "initiative") to do it.
Often it looks like "luck" and often it IS luck, but only in low levels.
Look channel "eygrr", there a lot of pretty good stuff, including things about "gambling"
Dude...if its not luck they wouldn't called it gamble! And if you gamble you are the noob because you cant win by skill and you attack when you dont have initiative so that means you count on luck to hit the enemy.

You guys shouldn't rly care about builds tbh, especially in ranked duels. What matters is being good at reading, learning how to chamber feint to parry, remaining calm, learning good swing manipulation and knowing how to use initiative properly. This is not world of worldcraft where you need certain type of gear certain stats etc. Build doesn't rly matter cause if you master what I've mentioned you'll farm people even with a branch

And thats the reason why any videos, "guides" and explainings costs almost nothing. While u not trained YOUR OWN muscle-memory and another reflexes u will not be able to win any serious duel.

Didn't want to be harsh with the guy who made that video but honestly the only thing you need is hours and hours of playing against someone far better than u, take a beating, several even, don't rage, and know why you lost that duel, and you'll get better within days

I like your loadouts but those builds are not "top tier" per say. i have noticed that plat is filled with cheese builds like mace and buckler, and bastard sword and buckler. The meta right now is all about gambling. I dont like it and imm sure you dont but thats just how it is. if you want to win then you cheese. I dont cheese myself but im hindered by cheese builds in plat 5 ,almost diamond. cheese is top tier. this is not
