Nope, thats low skill ) optimal strategy is get 25 xp points down jump. Any other guy who plays this game many can easily shoot hunter in flight if hunter can not perform his jump fast

In competitive versus, most of the time you will not even be able to land if you pounce from a very high place, because players can easily skeet you mid-air unless there's some godly hit landing. Also, the hunter can actually do it fast, since if you keep crouching while pouncing, your pounce instantly gets recharged. But tbh, the best infected for distraction is usually the jockey, because he can bunnyhop on top of being able to do teleport-like pounce movements if he looks a bit more down instead of up.

It's only through his individual skill (and team stacking) that he compensates for his bad teamwork. He also sometimes has bad manners and blames others for his mistakes in versus. This isn't the first time he's been killed by a smoker and then blamed his teammates for not rescuing him, when he himself would not have bothered to rescue a player in his situation.
