  • I do love my Nikon D850 for landscape photography. In this video I show how I used the D850 to take this dramatic long exposure landscape photography shot and turn it into a black and white fine art piece in post processing using Lightroom Classic and Photoshop.

Another reason why I removed those couple of branches in the water was because I wanted the sole focus of the background to be that lone tree which the foreground was leading the eye to 🤙🙏📸

Super technique video Adrian. Really love how this shows your individual taste and the way that as we are creating a piece of art it really is up to the individual how they process the original image to get the affect you want. Outstanding result mate👍👍

So fascinating to watch how you go through the whole process from finding the location, taking the shot and how it ends up as such a masterpiece. Barmera was a fabulous location, loved those drone shots. Thanks for an educational and entertaining video! Next week looks interesting too.

Hi Adrian, a really great long exposure tutorial! The location is outstanding, what amazing trees :) Black and white works so fantastically for that example shot. The final result has a lot of impact, really a great one!
Have a great weekend and nice greetings,

Nice work, Adrian! I think of all the changes you made, the linear gradient had the most impact. The photo really started to look great at that point in the edit. Nice work start to finish!

Thank you Phil. I think it was one of those type of compositions that lends itself to B&W. I do love those long expo shots. I saw the R7 is coming out soon too. Specs look impressive. If they've dropped the focus ability of the R5 into that, it should be a budget entry winner for Canon. Just wish that 100-500mm would come down in price. Have an awesome week Phil, cheers 📸🙏

@@kimstraining The filters I use now do not work on 14-24mm. You will have to search Nisi or Lee Filters for that, but they are expensive
