Thank you Dada for another exceptional heartfelt message. You have asked to write our tricks that are helpful to keep us elevated. I have recently found ways that have worked shockingly well. I know for a fact that it did not come from me. This trick just appeared in my mind. You may know this already but it could be useful for some who are struggling.
    1. When you see the lack in the world around you, whatever lack you are feeling, you are supposed to give it. For instance, you feel less loved, you give immense love.
You feel ignored, you give attention
You feel you were disrespected, you give respect.
Somehow that seems to be the answer. So now, anytime, i feel annoyed, my mind goes to why I am feeling this and what is it that I am feeling and give the opposite of it. This is an undeniable truth! After doing that, I naturally don’t expect any change in another’s behaviour or circumstance. It almost feels crude to expect anything.. my only reward is that I don’t feel any lack at all after I do this. It just goes away like a puff or magic :) This is the trick that divine has bestowed upon me with great love. And I give it here. Pranam.

Thank you Dada Sadananda for this very insightful video. As requested by Dada, my way to create this resistance is to give time to thoughts and feelings although thus far it has been through desires and pleasures by partaking in forms of intoxication... although if looked at expansively, could perhaps be labelled as a form of devotion (bhakti) to oneself. However, these thoughts and emotions have arisen through darkness and suffering and the vision which has fathomed from this chapter of dwelling has bought me closer to enlightenment (jnana), which in turn is helping me to move through the darkness into light, by understanding that I have the ability to achieve jnana myself, without having to punish my body and mind. Darkness comes to us in many forms. I have since learned that applying disciplines (raja yoga) is a better use of my time (karma) as it brings me more joy and peace of mind. Furthermore, both my inner and outer worlds seem to benefit and progress as a result. Raja yoga provides us with 8 ashtangas as a method of practice which help us on this journey. I believe that with discipline and practice, the mind gradually becomes less dualistic as our behaviour and actions become more collective and you begin to understand how we are surrounded by a world of energies and consciousness which interacts with our biological chemistry which fuels our karmic purpose, and that when we then learn to act on what serve to be our light leads us towards divinity.

So clear, thank you very much. "My" mental trick is to notice the early signs of suffering in the body. Than I focus on my breath and go inside of the feeling at the same time. I close my eyes and dive in towards the bodily sensation. My mantra is my breath, if that is possible.

Thank you for this wonderful video.
To know my source is everything for me. It is all I am aiming for, and to balance that with my "earthly" life is tough - and necessary. I could sit in my apartment and meditate, write, sing, do shadow work, read and watch my patterns day after day. So the discomforts in my life at this moment is defininalty about that. It is what pushes me forwards, and inwards. Family situations, daily conversations about the earthly struggles (bad weather, corona virus, media)... But also not searching for comfort in rough times. I am what I seek, so I will try to accept the fact that I shall not reach out as soon as it gets a little bit too dark. All light is within, and I shall look until it is the only truth. I am deeply gratefull for you and your videos. Namaste.

Clash in my mind only arises whenever I am unable to keep my spine straight, seems that it blocks the flow of energy into lower three chakra, mainly 3rd chakra, I get thoughts to prove myself to the people who don't understand my path & give judgements on me.
I feel a sense of pure loving vibration coming from you. You calms me & get me back to meditative state !

Dada, you only confirm that all things Spiritual require some type of agitation either internal or external. Breathing exercises, Sauna, Meditation, Life, etc. all require us (if we are lucky enough to understand) to step BEYOND ourselves - this is the only way we can grow. The LESSONS are ALL around us in Life at any Given Time - we only need the Ability to See - The Meditation is such a beautiful thing because it promotes Logic over Emotion, but keeps the positive, Joy, Love and so forth as the Constant the Fuel for this. It's never easy and difficult for people to see beyond this sometimes, but it's always there....as you say. and it is...the more I come to this, the more I want to seek it out...all of your videos out here - they don't have enough hits...this is most worthy Obsession there is...Consciousness and all things about it. As always - Thank for your Wisdom!

thanku ..so true... i was always interested in spirituality .. from my childhood.. but only kept gaining theoretical knowledge... never did meditation ( always found some excuse...also i never had courage to follow this path as i am girl..so my mom filled this idea in my mind that who will marry me if i will do spiritual stuffs ) ... untill recently ... i suffered too much because of a relationship and it changed me so much.. that in order to get rid of so much grudge hatred ...every kind of emotional pain.... i started doing meditation..it was hard for me to accept that..this almost 8 year long suffering ..was blessing that... finally shaped my mind.. gave me courage so that.. i am finally shaping my life .. in spiritual way ..i am no more scared of being judged... i only make company that is supportive for my spiritual life.... my motivation for meditation somehow still comes from that pain.... if i ever get distracted .. i always remind myself.. what was the meaning of that suffering .. i have to find that.. why i went through so dark bad emotions... i wish one day i will overcome this.. feeling and my longing will only be for supreme

Not sure how writing down not to be homeless helps? Anyone who has ever found themselves in that situation for a long time would know how much inner strength it takes to try and meet basic needs and not spin into depression and despair, and without being able to find a home is a major endurance test to keep surviving and it's challenging at times to enjoy life. Prayer and meditation is not easy being homeless, compounding the problems. How do you suggest people resolve this and keep positive in these conditions?

I found this video very interesting. Particularly how the teaching of 'clash' clashes with the philosophy of non-resistance. I feel like intentionally placing yourself in uncomfortable situations and then not allowing yourself to seek out the comfort you crave is a form of resistance, but I can understand how doing so can facilitate personal growth. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding the teaching of non-resistance?

    • @McDoodle44
      @McDoodle44 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Good point. I'd say, and this is just my understanding, that non-resistance refers to accepting tough situations (which usually leads to growth) and resisting refers to urges for comfort and instant gratification (which come with negative consequences in the long run).

What you are describing sounds like a gastrointestinal disease. If the disease begins to spread, measures must be taken to stop its progression. This may include getting tested and understanding how best to act to cope with the illness. Don't forget about the impact of nutrition on health. It is recommended to eat clean food, excluding poisonous foods that can weaken the body. Practicing meditation regularly also maintains a healthy state, and conscious eating helps the cells of the body to rebuild and create a new state. This can lead to improved overall health and well-being. It is important to lead a healthy lifestyle to prevent diseases. Maintaining health and energy allows you to focus on meditation and spiritual development. Loving, caring, and actively serving others also promotes spiritual and physical well-being. Spiritual socialism embraces active service and love of neighbor as key components of a healthy lifestyle.
Thus, overcoming long-term illnesses requires a holistic approach that includes healthy eating, meditation practice, maintaining energy and taking care of spiritual and physical well-being. But we still do suggest to consult a specialist doctor first.
      Get well soon, Meditation Steps🌸

Should one accept failure? I am constantly struggling to do the right thing, yet my victories are small...
It's not that I don't know what's right, but more that I am unwilling to let go of that little bird. Should I accept this? Do I continue my practice in acceptance of my limitations? I feel the clash within but with every failure I forgive myself. Will this forgiveness slow my liberation? Within this forgiveness, will my courage grow or will it diminish? Does forgiveness diminish the clash? Am I wrong to believe that letting go of the outcomes of my clashes, in victory or failure, is the proper way?

Namaskar Jimmy, our approach to life should be subjective approach through objective adjustment. Meaning that our goal is a subjective one (spiritual liberation). What we may consider a failure or clash, are opportunities for us to learn and grow and often make us stronger. Vádhá sá yus'amáná shaktih sevyam' sthápayati laks'ye.
(Obstacles are the helping forces that establish one in the goal). What is most important is what we learn from our mistakes and 'failures', will keeping our mind focussed on a higher goal.

This is why Jesus said it is harder for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God than a camel to pass through the eye of the needle. the needle by the way is a gate in Israel. he did not mean the needle kind of needle. And a clash by definition is not easy, it is hard. or a struggle as you say. When our egos die we realize that our suffering has also died.

    @borisnahalka3027 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

suffering is not discomfort. suffering starts when you are antagonistic about this discomfort. when you say it is ok, it's just that - discomfort. the same is with the pain. when you accept the pain, it is just pain. when you are against the pain, then you suffer.
no. if the push comes from outside, it is of no big value. because it will always be goal-oriented. once the goal is reached, no more push. real push happens always from the inside. then it can be permanent. I'm not saying it is permanent, I'm saying it has the potential to be permanent.
all these stages of suffering sound like complete rubbish to me. spirituality is not for people who suffer. get your life in order and in line and then we can discuss Yoga or other spiritual paths.
spirituality is not a therapy. when you are perfectly ok, and still, something is missing, it is more like a longing or a calling, the thirst that can not be satisfied, that is a beginning of spirituality.
maybe now i understand what you mean by stages. but the first two stages are not spiritual in my books.
all those reasons are wrong. and remember, if you do even the right thing for the wrong reason, you will not get very far. when the need arises it is just there for no reason. it comes without an invitation and once it is there, it is there to stay. you can not make it, you can not force it, it is there or it is not. if you try to force it, you will do more damage than good.
i would suggest that you take a pen and paper and write down 100 times,:: circumstantial pressure is irrelevant. now jokes aside, this kind of pressure is needed in the preliminary stages and I would not call them really spiritual. and why? because it has much more to do with the material world than with anything else.
clash is a technique used mostly by Zen Buddhism. it creates the situation when your mind is clashing with itself. it is kind of a shortcut, but it works only for a few.
you are making a very simple phenomenon very complicated. once you hear that inner calling, once you discover and live this vacuum, even though your life is in perfect order, but there is still something missing, once you feel that thirst, there your spiritual journey begins. unless you are an incarnation, then it is already on the moment you were born.
oh, pleasure now always wins with me. actually, anything now wins all the time. Atha my friend, always atha.
another mantra for you: "fuck the heroes". 100 times each day for 1 year. maybe it can help you to get rid of your dualistic views. one can only hope. maybe it can help you to see beyond positive and negative.
suffering is the poison and as you said, poison in, poison out.
no, why the present moment is so valuable is: there is no suffering, it can not exist in the present moment. there can be pain or discomfort, but no suffering. suffering needs comparison. no past, no future, no comparison. Atha is the very first word in Patanjali's Yoga Sutras for a reason. if you are fully established in now, there is no more suffering for you. with the first word, 90% of the journey is done. the rest 10% is about how to get from being ok to being ecstatic.
no, it qualifies as a war within yourself. in Koran, it is called Jihad. you can call it the holly war, you can sugarcoat as much as you want, but it is still a stage way before spirituality. it doesn't build anything new, it just destroys the old. is it necessary? absolutely! is it spiritual? nah.
your definition of mantra sucks. I could give you the proper definition, but I'm sure you can do at least better yourself. Mantra if properly performed can remove some obstacles, but it is not the purpose of mantra. mantra is most effective when there are no obstacles. when it can flow freely.
I wish you do not need to fight. that you are the winner without fighting. and yeah, I hope it is clear.
