I grew up clamming that same clam bed (across from Dillon beach). It is good to see that its still producing. I live in Humboldt now. Where are you finding horse neck in Eureka????? I have only found a few horse neck, mostly Martha Washington.
In Eureka there is lot of place you can clam. Just google search: Where is the best place for clam digging in Eureka. They do want you to clam in Eureka limit is 25 person. You can check out one of our video that we clam in Eureka: th-cam.com/video/OeRNidb9vN4/w-d-xo.html
@@ChengChengAdventure The limit in Humboldt bay is 25 horse necks & 50 total! I have limited out before (not many horse necks though).
