That shade of blue tho looks so unique. Same I like patina on brass lol its somewhat appealing to me. Again love the in depth review and insight for this board, I would add this to "future to go board". But im kinda intimidated on the 4 typing angle tho. Nice detailed review! Matrix digit series boards are just so so nice. They look great with unique designs, sound and feel good with just top mount and alu plates. Matrix 1.2og has qmk-based firmware pcbs, but they were released after the board was delivered, so not every unit has the new generation pcb. Matrix 2.0add is also a very nice board, but it is harder to find a color combination you like. Hope you can try it!
Interesting take. It has never really taken off in the western market due to its lack of availability and the more flamboyant modular design which to many serves no practical use.
Hi simon, the soldermask is actually yellow on the whole pcb, not green. When there isn't any copper under the soldermask, it appears way darker. The FR4 substrate under the mask is a yellowish-greenish color.
unfortunately its impossible to find this for less than a g these days. i will pay 1 g and i will be happy and sad at the same time and i want it oh so bad
