@@partysugar519 it doesn’t have to be all or nothing - and I would presume it’s not one thing or the other for a lot of people, especially myself, who have moved to the right. Not even every conservative representative supports every single policy or agenda platform, not every conservative is devoutly religious, I think it’s about the end result you’d rather see on the majority of issues. I think the right boasts more common sense (which isn’t difficult to do) than the left, their policies focus more on the collective and what’s best for all people in terms of financial security, safety, rights and freedoms. There is no way for any president to please everyone, not even close, but the left are too focused on identity politics which, for people who can’t feed their family or don’t feel safe in their city, don’t matter. Everyone wants to be able to support their family, everyone wants to be able to financially support themselves, everyone wants to feel safe, not everyone cares about ‘gender affirming care for minors’ or want to keep hearing about race division on repeat. Regardless of why this person changed their opinion, in my opinion it’s a great thing that they did and I support them, because were all much more alike than we are different, as humans.

I would love to say I am shocked, and guess to a certain extent I am. I will say I would bet my bottom dollar that part of the vitriol is because of the RINOs and liberals that infested Jackson Hole. A friend's family had a home in Jackson Hole, just a few streets away from the Cheney home. They hated it when they were there because the neighborhood took on a whole different demeanor. They sold the place to move further out to get away from it. Had someone from Hollywood offer some insane amount of money for their new property because they wanted to expand their property to keep people from building to close. My friends were on 20 acres. I think the adjacent property was 100, but 100 was to close. It was nuts. Hang tight, carry a sound message and you will prevail.

I grew up in California for the first 15 years of my life around Democrats and then I moved to Europe and I’m watching the news in Europe and the rest of the world and I see how evil the mainstream media (CNN) was against the people with common sense and that’s when I saw for the first time that they were spreading all negative rhetoric and it made me realize how fortunate I am to see what they were hiding all along, but I’m just talking from my own experience. It wasn’t until I moved out of the states to realize how bad it really was.
