- Different ignition system can handle different capacitance value. If you want bigger spark from this system, you'd better have a powerful ignition system otherwise you'll have problem at high engine load and/or high RPM.

Thank you so much.👍🏻
Love ❤️ from india 🙏🏻
You are welcome. Love from Indonesia.
Muy bien 👍👍
Thank u sir 4 this😍😍❤️❤️❤️
congratulations on your excellent work, would you like to know which country you are from?
Thanks. I'm from Indonesia.
Muy bien 👍👌👌
(Wow...I’m first.)
Awesome! This shows that the capacitors need time to charge, and if they’re too big, your alternator won’t be producing enough voltage to do that at higher engine RPM.
Compression- wouldn’t the presence of fuel and the pressure & density of the charge enhance the ability of the spark energy to jump the gap? This test was done at atmospheric pressure - things might likely be different at 8 times that. ...and 500pF might probably prematurely wear your spark plugs.
@Okki Moeljadi The overall power at various capacitance may be lower than 10W which is small but will this less than 10W is an average measurements only.
Are there a local hot spot geographically or in the time domain that will make the coil or the spark gap aging too quickly and prematurely ?

What was the top of the frequency range you were using Okki?
Hi Mike. I don't know. I tried to measure it with a tachometer but it somehow doesn't give me the correct reading. According to IC555 formula, it should be around 218 Hz.
