COSI Poseiden's Realm

Okay, this time on our COSI trip, we visit Dreamscape and Poseiden's Realm!
As expected, this section has to do with the sciences involving water. You can see how waves are formed, direct torrents of water with a high-powered water gun, see how water can support a ball (though as you will see, I'm kinda lousy at it :)) and direct water's path. All of this is observed by the towering statue of Poseiden, and the sounds of the Dreamscape (and kids).
From there you can go into the section that has a miniature submarine big enough to climb into. Here you'll see kids but when I visited a few years ago my 6' 4" nephew was able to get inside. So it's likely you'll want to do it as well!
There's another section where it is filled with water to simulate the bottom of the sea. Weirdly, there are two human skeletons submerged, and...a happy snowman :) Very surreal.
But this is just a small part of all the things you can see and do inside the Center of Science and Industry. If you and your kids find yourselves in the area of Columbus OH on W Broad St near downtown, stop on by!
