Turn off the mains is the best way
but if you want t to leave the mains on (not sure why one would want to do that), then press the power button for a few seconds until it turns off to sleep mode.

If not using, just turn off the mains. That's best.
Long press the power will just "soft" off.

@@hannamdong8344 Ahhh.. I understand now. In my country Malaysia, each wall socket has an off switch. So, we usually just turn off the switch on the wall scoket. I realise that no all countries have that.
For example US wall sockets may not have off switches. I would think if your wall socket doesn't have an off switch, what would do for a microwave or an over? Do you just leave it plugged in? I would think you could do the same and just long press the power button on the air fryer to make it "sleep". or just unplug it if you don't use it that often. That's up to yourself.
