Since update 1.13 the PP on this setup is just above 600. Follow the video but adjust front camber to 3.6, bring your natural frequency down to 2.80/2.90, and 5th gear to 1.357. This will be faster now and is below 600. The camber is to dial out some understeer after the update reduced oversteer. The natural frequency is to make the car feel a little more natural after the suspension algorithm update, and the 5th gear gives you more top speed now. I did low 58s on this setup on full fuel so it's over a second faster than before. How much of this is physics model I don't know. I'm not perfectly happy with how the car feels so you could definitely optimise this yourself. Good luck
Set it up after I saw the comment you posted and it was late so I didn’t do the race again. Anyway I set it up like the comment said had it a little under 600pp and now after update it’s up around 635 🤬
They have seriously adjusted this because I’m running 59 consistently and I’m getting nowhere near them they are 20 seconds ahead so the whole game has been changed. This is now not working if you go back and do this mission you will find that this is nowhere near fast enough I’m not sure what to do
I dont think this would work for 1.27 update. either you guys should update your videos or take them down if the settings no longer work! the updates are everything.... no one puts the platform that they used ps4 or 5, the controller or wheels that they used and the brake balance.... which would affect how the car handles when braking .
Stopped trying these races. Did 17 laps yesterday doing laps between 1.00.950 and 1.01.743 and the gap increased from 21 sec on the first split to 41 sec after those 17 laps. Tried multiple times with different setups but its the same every time... no chance at all
I was still able to take 1st using this method (update 1.24) but I had to set Output: 88 Balast: 29, position 0 Restrictor: 88 This put me at 599.97 completed 55 laps and only won by 2 seconds. I used fuel map 1 the whole race and traction control on 1.
Thanks man even tho with the update my car was a little more PP I used the ballast and put it at 599.72 and got gold and won by more then a minute. I see u said you did it on manual too. I did ur same setting on auto on accident lol. Still won by a lot! Cheers 🍻

Slight difference, no longer under 600, but I increased negative camber at the front to get over it, since the new update also introduced some understeer on this setup. Car is faster now. My negative camber needed to go to 3.6 and I tweaked 4th gear a little for more even gearing

I did some work on setups to get an optimal one since the latest update, the thing is video editing takes a lot of time/work and I'm not a TH-camr. I mostly upload videos to share with my friends and this was the only one that I thought might have broader appeal so I put more effort into it. It was recorded off playstation and transferred to PC by USB where I used free software and a cheap mic. I also had to keep my voice down for roommates. It took half a day. The only comments asking me to update are quite critical so the motivation isn't there to help those people. The setup in this is a good starting point but the gear ratio trick no longer works and you don't need such a soft rear end anymore. Oversteer is more forgiving now. Tune your gear ratios so you're in the power band in second gear out of the slow corners but not on the limiter until after the exit. Other than that the guidance in the video shouldn't be too far off. Where the original video was a 7/10 in my opinion, I'd rate it in its current state at 5/10.

The fuck. Used this set up after spec 2 and I'm getting I minute laps and I've just seen my first ever blue flag. I've been lapped after 15 minutes!

How did you get your car to 306 bhp? I bought the racing intercooler and the medium-rpm turbocharger but I have only 258 bhp right now

I just got gold with this setup. Just gotta drive better and learn the tracks. Run lean 5/6 and make sure you use intermediate tires when it rains.
