  • Let's add to a series of projects that look at making good from old, cracked or broken pieces of timber. This project takes some old log sections with cracks and transforms them into dried flower vases.

    This is a great channel, I’m liking the projects, I’ve got load’s of manzanita, it’s got the dark red interior and a white sap, gonna look great as a twig pot

    Have just completed my first project, I turned a piece of Lime wood (I believe that's what it is) using Colwin's video and advice. Am really pleased with the result and have gained a lot of confidence in tool use. Thank you

    Nice little turning & good looking wood. That last piece would have looked good turned a tad bit more.

    By coincidence I turned an almost identical piece a few days ago. A a general question do "Yorkshire Grit" and "Friction Polish" serve the same purpose?
