Jesus (pbuh) being god should come from him directly, not from others. He never made a clear and precise statement about him being god. If he was god, he would have said it clearly. God is god. He don't have to be shy to say it, especially if he wants us to follow him. And also, god should be precise. He cannot be the author of confusion.

There is the scripture, that's very clear.
And Jesus is not a God ,, He is God.
It's the same John that reported jesus saying "the father is the ONLLLLLY true God" so you either have a contradiction on your hands from John's lips , or John never wrote any of those verses, or John lied.

Read the context,, Jesus is saying the most simple thing. He in the same book of John and same chapter identifies Himself as the Son of the eternal Father. Anyway what he meant there was that there were other false Gods whom people believed. And looking at that aswell as differentiating the one who sent him with Him Himself as father and Son.
Read the whole chapter to get the meanings of the scriptures rather than listening to hissing snakes who do not even understand who God is and His nature.

Deduce doesn't make sense in that sentence. He said "PRODUCE the authority of Jesus..." Meaning, Ahmed Deedat is telling the Christians to produce (give, present etc.) their proof that Jesus (pbuh) said, "he is God," and that Jesus said, "worship me..." But it's not your fault. It's this subtitler's fault. He's the incompetent one who should have left the subtitles to people who speak English.

Well that might be true. When Jesus was talking to the Jews near the temple I believe it was. He said that he seen the father. And they said no one sees the father not even abraham. And then he said before Abraham was I Am. they want to kill him for this statement because the only one that ever said that was God himself to Moses. So why would Jesus Christ say that he is when he isn't. He either was referencing his deity or he was out of his mind. Anthony Stephen god is not the author of confusion, just like you are trying to justify here! When god has to say something, he say it clearly and frankly. Jesus (pbuh) did not talk in parables when it is about god. He was always clear and precise. It's christians who twist his words to make him god, then you claim he talked in parables. When he says "i am the son of god", he clearly means he is not god. He means he is the son, NOT the god. He even prayed to that god. These words are so precise and clear.. christians are so desperate to make him a god. So they make these clear words as a parable to justify their logic...
Talking about muslims. If prophet Muhammad (pbuh) did not arrive yet, then we would have been praying to the god of Jesus (pbuh). The same god he was praying to. The same god who sent him on earth. John 10:33, "the jews answered Him, for a good work, we do not stone you, but for blasphemy, because you-being a man-, make yourself out to be God" This is the Greek translation of that verse. So even the Jews understood what Jesus was saying.

John10:30, "I and the Father are one", Greek translation.
John 14:9, "he who has seen Me, has seen the Father, so how can you say,'show us the Father'?"
In the book of John 10, Jesus uses the Greek words ejgwv eijmiv, ego eimi for the words , "I am, that I am". These are the exact same words the God said for Moses, to tell the Israelites, His name in Ex 3:13-14. The Jews know it, the Christians know it and Jesus makes it plain and clear; Jesus says the He and God are the same and are 1. Now, if Muslims choose to not believe this, that's their choice, but don't say that we Christians need to know the Greek, when the Greek texts clearly translate that Jesus says that He and God are 1. So Muslims have to make a decision, either Jesus is a liar in the Greek, Hebrew and English or He is telling the truth because He definitely says that about Himself.
