The Fact that we don't get ideal crowns for preparation as there is seldom a need to do so, it will be really nice to show crown preparation in rotated or attrited teeth for better understanding of real world conditions. Thank You
Thats y whenever i need to do any treatment be it rct or crown prep i firstly remove caries portion and restore the teeth with composites to make it look like its a normal tooth… then i start access opening/crown prep

And sir i also have a doubt… u said dont finish the crown prep with yellow burs as gic dosent bond well in smooth surfaces…. I use 3m relyx u200 do i need to stop finishing the crown prep with superfine burs with this cement too???

I always encounter with bleeding in interdental area while doing crown cutting.. Is it normal? Or am I doing anything in wrong way?
my biggest problem is to remove the interproximal walls. Every time the teachers say i have removed too much. What shall I do?

Doctor, could u please tell about the names/numbers of the burs used . Especially the bur used for occlusal reduction.Is that a short shank bur like MANI TF 23 or TF 22.
and what about the buccal reduction bur name .Is that TF 13?.

These are specialized burs with novel designs... You shall not find these in ISO or Mani series

Rct treated tooth usually dont have proper anatomy due to access opening
What is the criteria for cuspal reduction n inclination in such case ?
It helps to build back original like anatomy during core build-up and then follow conventional protocols for prep as described in the video...

Anup Agrawal Taper Flat bur that is 1.6mm in diameter which helps me gauge the amount of tooth reduction on functional as against non functional cusp

Easier said as they tend to slip off and often leave pseudo marks

It's from the advanced bur kit - OR 1.2 for non functional cusp and OR 1.6 for functional cusp.

Video isn’t clear dr. Also It would have been nice if you would have respected the 5th cusp that is the distal cusp. Nice tips you have given.

How deep should initial depth grooves be
Depends on amount of reduction needed... Refer to video on advanced crown bridge preparation kit for more understanding of depth grooves

Whenever possible keep it subginival... equigingival in aesthetic areas and avoid subginival whenever possible

@@dr.swatiyadav605 he means ... u have to keep it always supragingiva whenever possible .. but in anterior keep it equagingiva because aesthetic .. and try not to do it subgingiva if not needed...👍🏻
