Love the fact that Skottie Young did the cover for Cable & Deadpool 38. I picked up the book just because I enjoyed Skottie's work. Oh I have the original art work for Deadpool 11, I got it for a song like 15 years ago. I always wonder what it would go for nowadays. So hard to know the value of original art
I bet you would be surprised what it goes for today. May be a nice piece to hold onto for a while. OA is pretty hot now and one thing is for sure: it’s a 1/1 game. There is only one and if it’s a popular piece you can do pretty well if the right people are in the room.
One of my favorite characters! There are a few on this list that I still need, too bad the days of cheap Deadpool keys are long gone. Can't wait to see DP3!
This is a great list -- I bought all of these books for anywhere between $2 & $10 over the years, most of them cover price 🤷 I didn't even know they were considered collectible, with the exception of the AF #15 homage & Wolverine #88 (which only became collectible recently as you said). Great video!
That Deadpool Punisher meeting I have in 9.8 I have the entire Cable & Deadpool run bought off the rack, since Cable is one of my alltime favorite characters. That Cable & Deadpool #24 is quite hard to find, particularly in high grade. I sold mines graded for 9.2 for $50 a couple years back. Recently brought another decent raw copy for about $40. Other affordable deadpool issues I like are: Daredevil Deadpool '97 Annual #1 - First meeting between the two Cable & Deadpool 50 - first appearance of venompool Deadpool 65 - Low print playboy inspired cover Deadpool 67 - first meeting of deadpool and dazzler
As a GenXer, I could never get into Deadpool .. it obvious Liefield simply created the opposite of Gijoe Snake Eyes .. dash of Spidey on Red Bull, dash of Death Stroke … if your fans watch my recap of Liefield GIJOE: Endgame series will enjoy how painful it was to be subjected to such disgrace for iconic character.. Freakin BulletMan shows up ?! Anyways the point is I could never get into or understand the hype around such a unoriginal character
I’m right there with you. I don’t personally like Deadpool, Harley Quinn, etc., but these characters connect with a lot of people who have come into the hobby. Thankfully, the hobby is a big tent and there is plenty of room for all of us to like what we do and dislike what we don’t.
@@CoMoComicBooks - totally agree. I always tell viewers “ with me there is no wrong answers “ There are a lot of Shades of Grey that are all wonderful, not everything has to be black/white . I also wanted to take time out to applaud 👏 you , I’ve noticed your growth as a presenter. Chris Piers ( comic Tropes) is a dear friend for many years. Maybe during this Years Annual Cobra Convergence you would like to participate? Two years back we revisited the Transformers/GIJoe issues 140-144 to reevaluate it. Ironically 1 year later we got the Energon Universe announcement. Keep up the excellent work and good vibes… The Community NEEDS people like you who value the hobby itself Vs 9.8 / CGC only. Yeah I am an old guy ( 53 ) and Deadpool does nothing for me. Which is why I have made no effort to acquire a NM 98. Although I did pick up a Facsimile edition, which I have yet to read and I did have a Deadpool #1 (#2 on Drew's ) for about a year because I picked it up to flip and made 50 bucks. The character just doesn't do anything for me. Although I find the Cinematic version played by R.Renolds amusing The only Deadpool 'key' that I made an effort to go after is Wolverine # 88. And that was because of Wolvie..not the 'merc with a mouth'
@@Boxingbear - I enjoyed your take ...I never liked being told " this is cool" .. Maybe its the GIJoe fan in me but it was obvious this is a complete rip off of Snake Eyes .. One does not Talk and the other all but Talks.. When i did that recap of Liefield's SnakeEyes Deadgame..it was THEE MOST PAINFUL issue I had to recap for my viewers..and they all enjoyed watching me struggle with it.. lol

Very well thought-out list! Lots of hits!
I’m glad you liked the picks!

They aren’t too bad price wise, but not bad definitely isn’t cheap. Thanks for checking out the video!
Thanks Drew, great to have the series back!
Better late than never!!!

Thanks for watching Matthew! Glad you got in early on most of these!
The first ongoing volume is a really good read, and there are quite a few keys in the run.
Which was a rare thing, especially for the time. Most titles were just going through the motions at that point. Thanks for watching!
I really like your videos and contents, there's a level of calmness to it. Setup is great.
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoy the content!
I needed this info by text about a week before you posted
You have my number… 🤷🏻♂️

Love Your Videos Bro ❤
Thanks Daniel! Glad you’re enjoying the content!
How about a series about characters that appeared in one of the 1980s miniseries that went on to have their own ongoing book?
Theres 1 store in Toronto where i can get Deadpool comics for a good and cheap price! I have a lot and some of these i have on this list!
How come Deadpool #1 second mini series never get any mention?
It was mentioned, just not featured. Only so many spots available.
I went the graphic novel route. I want the whole story in one book. They're not worth anything, but I don't plan on getting rid of them anyway.
