I am from Central PA and have seen all the old fliers from when they were playing clubs in Harrisburg as Paris, and have read stories that most times they were asked to pack it up early because nobody liked them. Bret was calling himself Bret Michael Starr. Pretty sure that where Michael Starr came up with his Steel Panther name. Still amazes me that of all the bands in PA at that time, these were the guys that took a chance and packed it up leaving their home life behind to head to CA and make it, then less then 3 years later this video hits…..

I always annoy my freinds and family talking about it. My dream is to be 15 in 86, and ride my 1983 honda cr125 dirtbike around town without worrying about cops being annoying. Now i ride my honda , and i get paranoid i will get in trouble. I wish i could going to my freinds house and jamming to poison or any glam metal band like this and just taking it easy. None of my freinds want to take their dirtbikes out and ride around and make some fun with me. Its rare when they do. They just want to stay inside during summer or they are busy. Thats when i turn on some Ratt or Poison and kickstart my dirtbike and ride for hours. Thats the only way i can kind of recreate the 80s if that makes since. It just seemed like the best time ever to be alive. As soon as time travel is invented, i know straight where im headed. Rock on!!!

I was born in 85 but if it wasn't for my cousin and his sister I would have never listened to 80s hair bands and metal and some of today's metal.

Barbie Girl -Oh BS! This was my music era! I rocked out at many concerts & our favorite bands were referred to by many things! glam rock, glam metal,hair bands & other names.as.well and it wasn't a diss!! I had alot of friends in bands & we loved all rock n roll, Punk rock, heavy metal,Hard rock,big ass hair bands, grunge whatever!! People refer to different music types usually depending on where they are from has nothing to do with being a 'true fan or not. You cant sell that BS to us who lived it SMH

My first CD ever was look what the cat dragged in. They were a great band, didn't get the credit they deserved that's for sure. Saw them for this album and open up and say ahhh. Good times

huge POISON fan back in the day. I even had a jean
jacket with the buttons on there along with some
other bands I liked but on the back of the jacket I had
a big POISON patch sewed on there. I also did see them
in concert back in the day too!
