    Absolutely stunning, congratulations. Brings back memories of recording this work with Maurice Murphy, Jim Watson, Philip Jones....

      It's wonderful....and nice to see the antiphonal choirs in the flesh. My LP copy with the PJBE is worn within an inch of its life.

    this takes me back to the Dukes Hall and the many concerts I performed there and now an ex pupil is there Adam Wood incidentally great playing all round

    There are some MAJOR problems with intonation.... Especially at 7:18 onwards.... WOW

    1st trumpet solo has a bit too much vibrato for me... doesn't match stylistically with the piece nor the rest of the players. BTW... he's also FLAT. It still amazes me why so many trumpet players seem to think everything needs vibrato... and the more, "the better." When in fact, the exact opposite is true. One can always turn-on vibrato if they need to. The true skill lies with the ability to produce a clear, pure sound... because it is harder to do and it requires listening to your intonation more closely.
