Well put. That is the nice part about Vizcom is you are part of the actual lines of the car. With MidJourney, doing no sketches, its totally different. No lines input....

I love Blender. I use it in Aircraft development, for Flight Simulation. Amazing shaping, mesh tool.

You did an awesome job addressing it in an honest and thoughtful way, and clarifying what is the difference between hitting a button to generate from a a library like midjourney vs yourself adding sketches to vizcom to help your design intent. 👍

Great video and great perspective. I started studying transportation design at the Academy of Art University back in 2004, when we would call using Photoshop "cheating", because if you couldn't render traditionally with pen/pencil, markers, pastels, etc., then you weren't good enough. Then moved down to LA, to attend Art Center in Pasadena (2009), where we were still taught traditional tools like sketching, perspective, proportion, etc. Still very important tools, along with Photoshop, which all of us started embracing because you still needed to know how to sketch quickly and efficiently. As for this Ai, part of me feels like, why even bother learning all of these skills if Ai can do it anyways? Just means the less need for human designers. I do see comments on other Ai videos about designers still being needed because of Ai being caught in a vacuum without designer input. I'm just really concerned.

I personally suggest "everyone" avoid from resisting newly arising trends. Walking with new trends may make you more agile and beyond your rivals.

Trends come and go. Don't follow trends, create them. Designers, car designers specifically, design cars for 10,15 and for even 20+ years out/ahead.

@@linc131313 If you implement new trends to your work, you may make your output 30-40+ years ahead your time. You may build ''your trend'' easier with the tools that make you stronger.

@BerkKaplanDesigner I'm a wire car artist! I create my own intricate wire car models, I'm not really good at sketching cars, I just construct them from my head, I would love to work with you and learn more about car design

Yeah. but you can still define many details in prompts in Midjourney as you do in Vizcom. I am also a designer for decades years. AI is an efficient way of designing for now and the future.

The fact that much less people show interest in car designing makes me feel sad😢 and happy😊 at the same time 😅
    Do you know why?👇

Interesting to hear your take, when you said about not feeling like you designed it. So who owns the copyright of the image?

Why freelance, is it more lucrative or is there something wrong with the industry?

and also 11:41 as I understood you are trying to say some people steal without AI so why not steal with AI ?

Lol, never say never. I can easily see that companies saving money on paying designers will definitely be a thing, same as in any other industry. Fyi, I'm a professionally trained car designer.

AI takes and blends/ Humans while can be influence have the ability to not be influence. AI can not, because it is not sentient. it can only manipulate data. Not the same
