- SICK Parents forced this HOME OWNER to leave his property causing the yard to a MASSIVE OVERGROWN
When I saw this yard, I couldn't believe it was super overgrown. So I talked to one of the neighbor who was looking after this property. From what he said the owner was forced to live with his parents because they were both sick. So I left them my number to reach me if they dont want their yard taken cared of. But the day after he message me that it was okay to worn on his yard. This took me a little over 12 hours from start to finish. It was brush pick up so it helped with all the cutting I did.

Beautiful job! It always amazes me how the neighbors know the situation but don't think to pitch in and help the homeowner out. If they rotated every other week this type of neglect would never happen. I remember my dad and I helping a neighbor down the street one summer. It's wasn't a huge deal to do...

The neighbors are not responsible for his yard. They didn’t even know him because he hadn’t even moved in yet. The owner is the one who is responsible for his lawn care and the associated costs of that lawn care. Why should neighbors, who don’t know the owner, pony up the money to dispose of his lawn waste and spend a year doing work on his yard? Blame the owner, not the neighbors.
I can't believe the neighbors knew he was away dealing with family issues and didn't bother to help him out. Shame on them. You are a great human being Chris! God bless you!

Not only that he was asked to look after the house for him while he was away. That to me means mow the yard as well.

That was awesome!!! The cut back of the shrubbery on the fence line and around the house really made a huge impact. Now you can see it’s a Craftsman home and it looks adorable with cut grass and defined edges 😍. Really well done sir 👏👏👏👏🙌🙌🙌💯💚💚💚

That isn’t even grass; it’s all vines, and they are all attached to each other. So first you have to pull up all the vines in the front yard and then mow. Double the work! You are amazing MrCris!
People should remember that you also have a job besides doing these free mows.

What a fabulous job! What I like most is you opened the house up so it could breathe. Nothing should be growing up next to a house a barn, a shed or unwanted vines. I’ve seen when some of these vines are about an inch in diameter and you can see them crawling up trees. Thanks for clearing most of all that out, it’s almost impossible unless you spend a month on it!😊

Once again, you found something important. I recently read that for every severely unwell person, another person is pulled out of the workforce. By observation, if the person still manages to do work and major care-giving, something else falls apart that they can no longer get to. Thank you for helping him out and some equal relief for the neighbors, who seem to go for groomed yards. We are going to get a surprise too, because what this yard would look like normally, we have no idea. 7:42, the yard is starting to appear. Not only are you making the inspector pleased, a problem will be resolving, but you just refound the utilities, so the utility people will like the safety and accessibility upgrade as well. Nice extra of sorting out the hose. A coiled hose sends a signal of order being present. You are doing a remarkable job. I'm glad you had Brush Pickup there, you cut down a lot of mass in refinding the place. An excellent recovery of space, refinding of areas and basic usage back..plus a huge amount of well thought out work.

Working at night and doing lawn maintenance during the day takes a toll on the body. Am surprised you still have the stamina to work out in the hot Texas temperature. Drink a lot of fluids buddy, it would help hydrate the body. Awesome work on the yard.

Funny how the code enforcement person was concerned with what parts you were going to clean up. You know damn well that any company/person hired by the city to clean up the lawn would do half as good of a job and still satisfy the requirements by the city.
The neighbor expected help with his pristine garden, but did nothing to help his neighbor when he knew his unfortunate circumstances. Some people have no shame or consideration for others. Great job - well done Mr Cris!

I'm thinking maybe because the concrete was really bad in those areas.
