Another cursed way of making money, eventough it takes a while is having a lot of pregnant sims in a pool and putting a fence around it. Pregnant sims cant die so they will stay in the pool. When its then time to give birth and there is no crib on the lot, one will be generated wich you can sell for 150 simoleons. However because they can't give birth in the pool they will stay in labor and over time another crib will be generated wich you can sell again. Then its just rinse and repeat. They stay in labor and they can't die, so you will keep getting cribs you can sell. It takes quite some time and it doesnt make you much money, but its definitly a cursed way of getting money.

I just made my sim become a Witch occult, then bought one 15k violin, and then copypasto the living crap out of it. And if my lifetime rewards are enough for a money tree, then I’ll copypasto that too. Absolute madness💀
Line up 20 of those violin and cast infernio. Collect the money. Cast repairio. Sell the repaired violins for the full price. Go in San Michuno. Cast copypasto on one of those boxes from where you can collect posters. Do that about 10 times. They are now in your house inventory. Back to your house, go in build mode and place those boxes on your terrain all neatly lined up. Twice a day, collect the posters. In a few days, you'll have completed the collection. Sell the boxes.
Basically why I got disappointed by magical realm real quick. Had a lot of fun the first couple of hours, but then I realized how easy it is to become a master witch that is able to do all these spells. It basically ruins a family because you have nothing left to achieve after a couple of hours playing
Whinny Brit has just done a great video. Way of making easy money. Has a sim with top level mischief and kelpto trait. Stole a load of items from townies and sold them on a wholesale lot.
The lag/total glitch-outs are not caused by mods. It's caused by expansion packs. None of the expansion packs are coded to play nice with other packs/content (despite EA claiming to do cross pack comparability tests).
I quite like the science career, you can get the item transmogrifier and turn very basic items into expensive ones with your ray gun. You can also get a mega discount on magic items from the vendors in the magical realm (with the right perk in the spellcaster occult) and bulk buy hundreds of books and other objects then sell them in a bunch and make a 25% profit. In eco living you can get into the civil design career, learn the design for the trash hoover then repair destroyed furniture from the dumpster. In City living you can buy other people's paintings from the art gallery and easels and sell them with a bonus in your own shop from get to work (if you didn't want to be a painter yourself). You can beachcomb in island living, and go diving to make bank. There are lots of ways other than the cheat codes.
Don't forget the cloning machine... It can clone a lot of objects, but, copypasto is stronger. My Sims routinely make so much money that I got a mod that increase the maximum amount they can have so to not waste 1000's of millions. They can currently have up to §4 billions.
For the apartment one I think you have to go into an unfurnished lot and just hit bulldoze lot at the top and then you move over and sell everything. Then repeat or maybe I understood it wrong 😕

There is a spell to put OUT fires too, LOL. So using the spellcaster I used to dumpster dive, repair the item so it could be used, then the most expensive items got set on fire over and over. Good times. You don't have to knock on their door to harvest the money trees since they are not in a fence or anything, just go get it, you don't even need to know them. What I used to do, because I don't actually play TS4 anymore, is for a rags to riches I would send my sim dumpster diving and what they got would point my way in how I was going to play them. I've gotten various books, VERY expensive items, and really great plants. So whatever I got was how I would end up playing the sim. So sorry for all your problems in game, not to brag but I played TS1 and TS2 and TS3 each over 10 hours with no problems. It was awesome. Just saying, I really enjoyed your TS2 lets plays.

This way I usually buy the most expensive item a bunch of times and then sell it at the normal price from my inventory. 💅

Simoleons? If you have the Star Wars pack, here's the ultimate hack that can give you MILLIONS $$$ in a short period of time, you just need to be willing to click enough. Here's what you need to do: There's a quest for the rebels with a task that wants you to get a gun out of a crate in the imperial neighborhood. Thing is, EA being EA didn't put a limit. As long as you stay in that mission, you can take unlimited guns out of that crate. Step one: hoard a supply of guns that would put the mafia to shame. Step two: Sell guns for Battu bucks. Step 3: Use that money to buy a lifetime supply of kaiber crystals or whatever is the most expensive. Step 4: Go home and cash in by selling from your inventory, or hack the hack by selling over a long period of time on a flea market table at home with 300% markup. You're welcome 😘
In sims 2 you could make a living as a vampire hunter by marrying the grand vamps one after another and locking them out of the house for a minimum 50K per. Good times.
my favorite way is to get the cloning machine from the science career, go to the jungle and collect the junge treasures, which sells for a couple thousands and at home you can clone them over and over again.
Perfect orchids and dragon fruits is the fastest way to make 1m!! you have to download a lot that has them cheated on (I got mine from a internet/library from the sims most popular if anyone’s interested I’ll post the name) but from that you just need to harvest them take them home and grow them yourselves (I hired a gardener) you don’t even need that many plots! unless you did like me filled the lot with perfect orchids the bank is crazy ! 😂
You have to do it one thing at a time or it can overload the coding and make it not pay out. Other than that though yes repairing burnt stuff is a decent way to make insurance money LMAO

Scrubero cleans, reperio fixes broken items, copypasto makes a copy of things, and dedeathyfi (i think it was called that) brings a sim back to life, I think that works on pets too. Lot's of good practical spells and I didn't even get into potions.

As a spellcaster you can set anything on fire, but not clean objects, heal pets or do any good stuff 😡😡
