Colt Clark & the Quarantine Kids play ENCORE with Marty Stuart and his Fabulous Superlatives!!!

Hey guys! A few months ago we mentioned we received the most kind and thoughtful letter from country music legends, Marty Stuart and Connie Smith. That correspondence led to a really special day that we were able to meet up with them to play some music on their tour bus and have a meal together. We knew after that day we had made friends for life. Their warmth and kindness made them feel like family. This week Marty was playing a tour date near us. We gave him a call and let him know we were looking forward to seeing him at the show. He was kind enough to give us backstage passes so we could hang out with him and meet his band, the Fabulous Superlatives, Kenny, Chris and Harry. Here’s the kicker…he asked if Colt and the kids would want to play a few songs with them during the encore. WE WERE BLOWN AWAY! We showed up at the theatre the night of the performance and again, they all treated us like family. We loved spending the evening with them talking about music and family. After dinner Colt and the kids did sound check with Marty and the band. I had goosebumps hearing them all play together on such a big stage. We sat in the audience, excited to see the show as fans. About ¾ of the way through we got up, went backstage and Colt and the kids tuned up a bit while we waited for Marty and the band to finish their set. We stood behind the curtain on the side stage until they heard their introduction and then they made their way to their instruments. I spent the next 15 minutes (3 songs) trying to stay still and remind myself not to dance and scream like a crazy person so I could record this video without making you sick to your stomach from motion sickness. 😊 To say it was one of the most exciting, special, and memorable nights of our lives would be an understatement. We couldn’t have had a better time, with any more lovely people. We are so thankful to Marty, Kenny, Harry and Chris for making us feel like family. Hello everyone! We're the Clark family. Colt (the Dad) is a professional musician and Aubree (me, the Mom behind the camera) is a photographer.
