I wouldn't install Windows 11 if Microsoft paid me. I'm sticking with Windows 10 until October 14th 2025.

Windows OS will activated automatically if you are upgrading from a previous eligible Windows OS or if you are installing on a Windows device that previously had an eligible Windows OS version installed on it.
