Yeah, so they basically did nothing for 90% of that. The small hair rollers give you tighter curls. But what they did is unroll and then re-perm without rollers, which just gives a very slight wave. They could've just done that from the start to save a ton of time.
yeah seconding the first comment. i think they started off going for tight curls and then realized he really wasn’t into it and backtracked so they could give him waves instead
Actually I think you’ll find removing the rollers at the sink and applying more solution is the neutralisation process. They use hydrogen peroxide at the sink, first on the rollers in then remove the rollers and liberally apply with rollers removed. If that young man had 3 lots of perm solution applied to his head like that he’d have no skin left on his head let me tell you.
It definitely changed. It added texture and volume that he didn’t have before. It wasn’t a huge change, but it was big enough to make him look considerably more “clean cut”
@@junosgladius yea they do hold curls well.. every single Asian person that I’ve known korean Japanese Chinese even Taiwanese had done curls that held for at least 2 days
This is why I told people that my husband’s wave is like every girls dream hair lol 😂 his hair is just looks great… Now seeing men go for this hairstyle whilst my husband heading out without any perm his hair just looks that great
Very nice. It doesn't look the same. His hair was very straight before. Adding a perm to your hair is something more permanent. They didn't make it too tight so that he wouldn't be shocked.... they did a great job in making it wavy and until it grows out, he will have naturally wavy hair.
You can have that same look by rag rolling. Wet your hair twist it tightly around cotton undo after it dries or blow dry for more speed. It will even work on Asian hair.
*CEDRIC PLEASE READ THIS* So I have pretty straight hair and I want the kinda fluffy forward cut but not like the icecream look. Some days my hair will do it and other days it won’t. Do I need wavy hair to achieve that? Do I need a perm? Or do you have any way of telling me how to style it like that?
i have the hair you want, quick tips, if your hair is the way you want some days, it can be the way you want all days. don’t shampoo your hair every night, that can strip your hair of the natural oils it needs (still use conditioner every night). after you do that, every morning wet your hair completely in the sink/shower then dry with a towel (do not use a blow dryer). after that, use a palmade puck (i use a puck called american crew fiber) and put the palmade all over your hands. then scrunch your hair while lifting up. do that until it looks the way you want. if you have naturally wavy hair, this will make it curly, and if you have straight hair, this will make it wavy, hope this helps
Damn, y’all gotta go through ALL THAT for that little bit of wavy? I feel like the right products, maybe a round brush or some curlers, and a lil’ heat at home could do that for you for a fraction of the time and price.
yall in the comments clearly have ZERO KNOWLEDGE about perms or anything to do with hair his texture of straight, coarse Asian hair can NOT be made wavy just with hair products, and everything the stylists did in thia video is extremely normal for a wavy perm service
Both of us got perms and both of us got to do re-perm 😂🎉. Bro if you were a mixed like myself you would have curly hair or TYPE 3 hair texture. I do believe its the best 👌 sorry if i offended anyone else on here. You both got TYPE 2 Hair texture. Thats WAVY, not CURLY
The perm did not do much. Hair gel can get that finished look. FYI: You should not wash your hair daily anyway. It strips away too many natural oil your scalps need.
Him: Requested for the curliest perm possible.
Hairdresser: I'll just do it wavy💁

I think they realized they made a mistake so they redid it. Happens 😂

Both of You are Cute, and with Korean Perm even Cuter!
Your bother look so handsome with that hair perm
Your both adorable ❤
Nothing changed 💀
That what I’m saying😭😭
It added some texture but he could do that with hair products, unless it saves him some time from not doing it every day

Good luck on the curly hair and perm journey ❤

While I play clash of clan
Shoulda made it curlier
It would damage his hair, it was pretty straight before, if they did more, his hair would have been ruined.
