CA, it’s been a pleasure watching you for the last couple months before I moved back stateside. Now, I’m moving to the space coast next month. Fishing is something I want to do professionally so I don’t plan on losing contact with you. It’s gonna take me, conservatively five years to get set up to do it part time . And 10 years to do it professionally, how I want to do it. Now I’m not sure where you cast out of, but my best friend is moving to Tampa the same time I’m moving to the space coast so I’ll be all around Florida fishing spots. If you want to wet a line, let me know I feel like you would be a cool person to fish with and get to know.

Its crazy how calm yall are with 30” reds. Guessing the length and weight and talking about other stuff with a fish on. I guess im still in the stage where im stumbling and fumbling all over my boat yelling for the net just to pull up a 13-1/2” catfish.

Once you've caught a few you calm down. I remember being frantic to land my first snook even knowing it was too small. Gaffing my first cobia and kingfish was nerve wracking too. And netting the first few nice tripletail. But then I quit freaking out because I knew what to do and if I lost them I wouldn't be as bummed.
I was far from the saltwater for a sad decade or so and now I'm back catching salty fish. Netting the first flounder or two gave me that feeling again. 😂

I'm going to have to try some of the toadz next time I get an opportunity and conditions are right. There is nothing like those top water explosions! Tight lines again.

You’re telling people that a GoatToadZ will work on Reds?? Next you’ll tell them that ToadZ work great for skipping under mangroves for Snook🤫🤫😂😂

Capt CA have you heard of the Core Tackle Hover Rigs and Rush swimbait hooks? They're for soft plastics and they go inside, there no head visible. They were invented by a couple bass guys, one is Matt Stefan and he has a TH-cam channel. His rigs cause baits to stay fairly horizontal and they have an insane darting action. Mine will be here this week. I think they might be game changing for some situations. I recommend this video to him. He just won a big tournament on the Mississippi, he's a pro. I think you'd like his rigs..

I actually follow Stefan’s channel and would love to see how saltwater species like snook and speckled trout would react. We may do a segment on those hover baits later in the Fall… thanks for the idea

@@flatsclasscharters mine are coming this week, I'll let you know how they do around the Chesapeake for flounder, reds, trout, and hopefully stripers.

OK, upfront. I want to be a Chaplain. I also want to be an inshore fishing guide.
Hopefully, I’m stationed at Patrick SFB long enough for you to teach me how to do that for me to teach myself how to make that possible before i make the transition from a simple helicopter mechanic.

CA I gotta say, you’re a master with that toad! I would have set the hook way too early. That’ll get your heart rate up, seeing them crawl across the surface! Nice work and your son is killing it with the video production!👊🏼
