carrot greens yum....i thank you for reminding all of us to freeze food stuffs for a couple of days to stop things "hatching". i put my pasta in the freezer for at least three days to stop "weevils". this was a beautiful vid. senior animals are adorable, especially when we know their WHOLE short lives are well cared for.
I never thought to rehydrate mealworms, what a good idea! I think I died from the cuteness of those tiny raised garden beds that you made lol Love it! Thanks for sharing ☺
your hamster looks so much like mine, the same super pale cream bands, except mine got some giant ears. i made her the little garden before and she uprooted all the greens in 5 minutes to use as nesting, but at least she had fun haha
I tried your idea to rehydrate the mealworms. I put some for my Hamilton, and he's actually taken some. Never eaten the dried ones before. Put some out for the wild birds too
Great tips! My hamster doesn’t like dehydrated mealworms, hope that other way works! And I live in a very hot and humid city, so that freezing idea, comes handy!
Curious if you just used flax seeds sold in the grocery aisle did you do anything other than put then in substrate water sun. Do you need to soak or crack them first? As I have never been successful and have no idea what I do wrong.
@@shellym79 I use flax seeds from the grocer. I bury the seeds under soil in a mini terracotta pot. Water occasionally and in a sunny location. And soon sprouts. I snip them and serve, like a salad 😊
I know your videos are for hamsters but a lot of the tips are really good for caring for hermitcrabs! So just so you know your making some hermitcrabs lives a lot better

The last one is a life saver! I had this problem so many times. I am doing it right now, thanks!
Amazing video! Short and to the point with lots of useful information 🙂
